Just called a desk at my work that I am temporary sitting at, about my last chance to renew my vehicle warranty. I could either press 1 to be connected to someone to sign up, or press 2 to be put on the “do not follow up list”.

Received a call on cell phone at work; didn't get to it in time. No message left, but received similar call 2 days ago from a different # in DC area. That # was associated with vehicle warranty according to all the reports on that number (202-888-6297)

Called my cell two times so far this morning.  First call I foolishly answered without checking the number.  Recorded message told me it was my second and final notice.  Since I drive a '99 Saturn I think my warranty may already be expired.  Obviously a scam.  Avoid like the plague.

I give this cell number out to NOBODY.  Three people have this number.  So how did they get it?  Must be dialing random numbers.

My call from this number was also a car warranty scam.

I received this call at work, which happens to be a very security driven company. They didnt leave a message. Thanks to this web site I have a pretty good idea what its about. I am forwarding the info to our IT department to see how they handle the issue.

To h: They get it somehow. I got called just an hour after I got my drivers liscence

I have gotten several of these from this same number.  While at lunch from work I got another.  Luckily I looked to see who was calling and yep, sure enough, it was them again.  This time I didn't answer.  I thought they might get the hint but I guess their not that smart to know "I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO THEM".

I never answer numbers I don't recognize and after I ignored the call they continued to call five more times one after the other before giving up...I just hope this doesn't become a daily thing

I don't have any car and have never had))but they call me to warn me about warranty of my vehicle - lol

This is the 4th or 5th time these clueless people have called with some offer about a warranty on my car about to expire???  I've been losing my eyesight to Retinitis Pigmentosa or years now. I finally had to retire from practice (geriatric medicine) as I can no longer see anything but gray shadows in my left eye and my vision in my right eye is about 20/200 which is (if I remember) considered legally blind. I know there's a joke out there which says "blind man driving' w/a picture of guy driving a van delivering window blinds. They definitely aren't too bright because I got them to describe what they were offering & what their rates were & how much the deductible was for this thing or that & how much more would I have to pay if I wanted to have coverage with no deductible because I was legally blind & was becoming prone to backing into poles or mailboxes or other cars, clipping off my car mirrors or someone else's mirror's (they were really being honest when they printed the warning on the mirror.........objects in this mirror may appear farther than they are or nearer than they are!  I told them how much I needed to have all the coverage I could get. They never did anything but give me the information I asked for, never even QUESTIONED A BLIND WOMAN WANTING RATES! So you can ignore them or just mess with them if you're having a dull day, I don't know if I'm kidding or not, now that's scary!!

Monday morning, just showed up to work and a voicemail from this number.  Same thing, car warranty B#$%Sh!&.

Delete message and google the number as usual. lol

just got this too. I don't even have a car. I live in the city :p

I had a missed call and voicemail. They just hung up on VM so I called back to be sure it wasn't one of my clients. Recording picks up and says push any button to be removed from list. Hopefully this works because they are calling my office line.

I have no idea how they got my Skype number. Like the 4th poster from the top, I think they may be dialing random numbers.

Just got a call in the middle of my sleep working third shift at the hospital, I leave my phone on incase of an emergency at work or with family didn't answers no vm, alway use 800 numbers on numbers I don't know

Pre-recorded message claiming it's my second notice that my vehicle warranty may have expired.  Absolutely illegal call, almost certainly a scam.  Reporting to donotcall.gov.

Just called my cell. Left a blank voice mail message. Bad enough I had to pay for their call to me. Then I had to pay for the call to check my voice mail only to hear silence!

I also received the call at work. I prefer not to have telemarketers call me there. This sounds like the work of a robocaller

A couple months ago a Ford salesman told me to disregard the letters showing up in my mailbox since extended warranties from the dealer offered broader coverage, and usually at no cost.  A few of the letters offered a warranty on cars I no longer owned or leased!!! So, even if this call were legitimate (and I doubt that it is), I have no interest and simply hung up.
