Got a call on business phone line, answered on the second ring, heard "press 9" and then the line went dead when I announced myself.

In home security system sales.

Brad called in regards to home security i asked to be removed and i am still getting these calls

This phone number showed up on my cell phone as a missed call. Since I was not familiar with the area code (205), I did a reverse lookup on a web site saying the call came from Alabama.  I don't know anyone personally from that state,which indicates to me that it might be a solicitor.  I have no desire to do a return call to that number.

Home security scam

I keep getting calls from this number about home security and have asked them numerous times to remove my number but the calls don't stop.

Unsolicited phone call.

Scaring my kids saying this is the FBI someone is coming to break in your house I'm deaf my kids are hearing they typically answer phone to talk to their friends or family we use video phone for deaf so it's a separate phone line but I'm upset at the company for scaring the crap outta them!

Unsolicited ADT security the do not call list just gives them a list to call.Told them at least 100 calls ago to stop

Received call while in mtg; did not answer. If legit, they'd leave msg.

We are a business & receive calls from this # on a daily basis....yesterday we received 3 calls within a 15 minute span.

Got a call from this number today which wasn't the first time. Normally I don't answer if I don't recognize the number, but I finally just answered to see who keeps calling me. It's a scam company telling me someone I know referred me to this company as I might need a new home security system. We'll that's laughable because anyone who knows me knows that I don't own a home and certainly would have told me before handing my number out to a strange company. This call came on my private cell so I blocked the number. I added the number to my contacts, named it SPAM, and set the contact to go straight to voice-mail like I do all calls like this. I use Android, I'm sure iPhone has something similar.

States they are going to put a sign in my yard and i can get an alarm system for free! I have asked to be removed about a dozen times but this time i talked to them, they would not answer any questions until i gave them some personal info and finally hung up on me when i asked about pricing! Big scam!!

Yes, same is happening to me. First the recorded message says press 9 to be added to do not call list. Obviously that does nothing, as they have called several times more. So I just pressed 1 this time to speak with an agent. MIKE says he is with HOME SECURITY SERVICES in Salt Lake City, UT. When I asked to speak with his supervisor he immediately hung up.

Dont be holding phone close to your ear when you pick up -- really LOUD voice informs that FBI statistics reveal large number of home breakins, and invites you to place an ADT home security sign in your yard. For revenge I am going to call ADT repeatedly and hang up.

Don't seek vengeance against ADT.  It's not them calling.  These callers are criminals trying to take advantage of you on the telephone.  If you speak with them or ask them to take you off their call list, they will keep calling incessantly, just to piss you off for their own entertainment.  If you never pickup their call in the first place, they usually give up after only a few tries.

This is a supposed security company.  I have gotten these calls from different phone numbers on my mobile phone.  I add a number to my auto reject list and a week later I start getting a call from a different line in a different states.  Honestly I think this is a scam and when you block one number they move you to another.  I have gotten calls from at least 6 different numbers.
