Number text messaged me trying to get me to add them on yahoo messenger..

Got a text message from this number saying "hey brandy" I don't answer #'s I don't know.

Got a text from this number saying "Hello Jenny" and then nothing.


Kinda weird. Anyone know anything about this?

Weird, my boyfriend got a text message from this same number saying "hola Trevor" (not my boyfriend's actual name) then he asked "who is this" the number replied "if you want to know who I am add me on your yahoo messenger, my ID is textgirly227" he replied back "ha who is this". After that there was no answer so I googled the number and found this. Odd, I hope to get more info on this.

Second message of this type in less than a week. Irritating!!

I got a text saying "Hey Kate" and when I replied "hi who's this" I got another text saying "ohh my phone's about to die :(" so I decided to look up the number.. I have my # listed on Facebook but my profile is only visable to friends so if it is because of Fb that is pretty shady!

I just now got a text from this number saying "hey Daniel" so I Googled the number and found this page. Good to compare notes!

we should call them and spam them back :P

I just got the same texts as described.

First one said, "Hi James"

I replied, "Hi, Who is this?"

Second text said, "Opps, Mi phone is about to die. :("

That was it. I would be very interested in knowing what this is accomplishing.

This samething happened to me.. crazy.. i thought maybe it was a friend that i know that lives in florida that moved or something to Alabama.. But NOPE!! they said Hey Nichole.. i returned with who is this.. they said my phone is about to die.. I said who is this.. they said add me on Y! mesngr textieflirty67..

i just got one.. and i got nothing back.
anyone tried to call? let's see if we can list out common stuff here...
i do have my number on my facebook (only visible to my friends, and i only add people who i know in person)
i recently changed phone, to verizon.

bought some stuff online recently.
if this doesn't happen anymore, i guess it doesn't matter but i'm curious.. haha

I tracked the number, it's spam, it's one of those companies that likes to add charges to your phone bill claiming you gave permission.
