I get calls from this number on a daily basis. Its truly annoying

I have also received phone calls from this number. It is annoying

Centregy calls my home phone number at least twice a week. They call with an automated system and when I answer there is no one on the phone.
Why they are calling me I don't know. I don't owe anyone money that is overdue and have a 730 credit rating. They have never sent me any type of letter. When I try to call them back I get an automated voice asking for my
checking account number and routing number. They are trying to scam people
so they can empty their bank accounts. The company is a big scam. They suck big time.

I work at Certegy and their main goal is to harass people and try to screw them. They try to get people's personal information so they can scam people. Do not respond to any call made to you by this company. Do not give them any personal information. If you ever do get to talk to a human being which is not very often tell them to send you any information in writing only which they will not do. If you like you tell them you will report them to the FCC. And tell them never to call you again. They are a very dishonest company. And the employees use any personal you give them to steal your identity.

They call at least six times a day...

OH MY GOD.. this is the second number we found online that is a SCAM. I get a call almost daily from this certergy payment #. I answered it one time, and the line went dead. Thank goodness for caller ID.BE AWARE OF THIS # 215-642-3400. IF YOU SEARCH IT, there are several comments about that number too.

I get calls starting at 7am and on Saturdays also from this number.  Originally they left a computerized message, now they just hang up when they get my machine.  I also have a fine credit rating & am not late on any bills, so I can't figure out why they call so much.  It's been going on for MONTHS.  Thanks to those posters who've id'd these people as scummy scammers.

You have the right idea!! Biggest annoying scam that can take place. Do not give out information to these people> I got hold of a live person!! And they ask for all kinds of information< which they didn't get> but they have called us over and over on our home phones and now on our cell phones> They are tracing us everywhere!! Do not answer them hang up immediately and report them> Also go the National Do Not Call Line< and enter your phone numbers immediately> It will take time but report them immediately as soon as your number gets registered!!! They are dangerous!!!

I've been getting calls for over two weeks from this number.  Each time a recording is left on my voice mail and it cuts off the beginning of the message.  The one time I did answer it, nobody was there.  I have also received a call from another number with the same area code.  An actual live person left a message, but it was for somebody else, so I ignored it.  I believe the call came from Certegy as well.

This number called my cellphone. I didn't answer it because I generally don't answer numbers I don't recognize or aren't in state.

I have been receinig calls from almost a month,from 205-752-7762 from CTRS asking to call 1-800-873-5869. When I call them back, a pre-recorded message ask for a bank account and routing number.
I'don't owe anybody money, so I hang up and after so many calls, I reported to de FCC. Please file a complaint with then if you received the same calls.

Also, you can reported them to www.FTC.gov (Federal Trade Commission-Protecting America's Consumers).

You can also file a complaint at www.donotcall.gov, given that your phone number has been registered on the National Do Not Call list for at least 31 days.

I too receive calls from this number daily for at least 4 months.  If I do answer their is about a 30 second pause and the pre-recorded voice tells me to cal 800-873-5869.  I finally called it and got another pre-record tell me to have my checking account and router number avail. at that point i just hung up.  I have a credit score of 820 and have never been late on any payment.  I have never received anything in the mail stating so either.

This number calls several times a day. I just got the phone hooked up and it started almost immediately. They call starting at 8am and all day long! How can you make it stop? Does AT&T sell your phone number? I am questioning that because, as soon as the phone was hooked up the calls started. COnstant!!

I get the same thing, and they do not let go.

I continue to get calls even after explaining that there is no reason, no charge, the complaint is bogus.  Not to mention they have tied up my ability to cash checks in a variety of places.  Certegy is a real pain

This number has started calling me two days ago and has already called me 5 TIMES!!!  I have never answered...  And who knows how long they will keep up or when it will stop!  Its sooooo annoying!  How do they get our numbers????? And does anyone know how to stop it?
