on call back, got recording stating this is not a working number

I have sprint service with a different phone number.
My phone when roaming is displayed on caller ID as 205-936-7626.
I have complained to Sprint about this numerous times and am going to close my account today because of this problem/phone number.  
I am not sure if this is a sprint only problem or not but I can tell you for sure I have sprint service and when I make calls this is the number people see.

Caller hangs up.  When you call back it is not a working number.  Happens on roam.  I am on Sprint as well and I will contact them.

I canceled my service with Sprint and closed the account.  Then Opened a new account under a different name, with a new phone number and using a different Credit Card. I used a different address and there is no information carried over from my previous account.
This number is showing less often but is still showing on some calls made while roaming.  This is very aggravating.  I hate Verizon but if this is not fixed, will be switching.

I did not answer this number as it was not in my phones book.  A friend called me at or about the same time this number showed up on my phone.  Wondering if his number was shown as this number being reported.

I was just wondering if whoever posted this would explain to me what kind of trouble it is I'm known to cause? And how would anyone link me or these others to this number? You obviously know me, so man up let me know if you have a problem with my character.

I called my girlfriend and it showed up 205-936-7626 and she is accusing me of having 2 phones. i need help and answers.  pleaseeeee

I recieved a call fromt his number on my cell phone and I didnt answer it and no message was left. It was also at the time that my partner was calling me while she was roaming. We are also with Sprint and will be contacting them to solve this issue. I called the number back and it said it was a non working number so that leads me to believe that it was an issue while my partner was roaming. Thanks for posting cause now I know that we need to call and solve this issue.

also on sprint.same thing.husband called and this # showed.do any of you have google or yahoo voice / chat.thinkin that has something to do with it.# showed as well as yahophone attached to his #.cant call either back.perhaps a hack of some sort?

I have Verizon and the same thing happened to me Saturday. My brother-in-law called me and this number showed up. I asked him whos phone he was on and he said his. This is very weird, I was wondering is someone else was listening to my calls.

This number just showed up on our Caller ID and when I answered it it was actually my husband, calling me from his cell phone.  It's not his cell phone # and I almost didn't answer it since I didn't know the #, but it certainly seems like the # may show up when there is some kind of a glitch in the caller ID/routing system.  Probably best not to name "troublemakers" by name as the # appears to belong to no one.

i have eperienced This exact same thing...my husband was trying to call me, he was partially roaming when the calls were coming thru~& we have Sprint also...I am guessing from reading everyone elses posts putting 2 and 2 together this must be some kind of dummy number Sprint uses when any of their customers are calling from their cell phones & are roaming....To the guy who's girlfriend accused him of having 2 phones~that's both awful for you but genius thinking on her part...I'm so sorry!! But there it is....

You run your mouth about people behind their backs about anything that may stir up trouble.  You sit their and say you would say it to their face but you NEVER do.  Wherever you, Sparkman, and Dobbins are there is controversy.  It's not the people your around that's the problem, IT'S YOU!!!  You need to remove yourself from any positions of leadership and authority because the constant griping surrounding is proof that nothing good comes from following you.

The person using this number also 256 379 3636 and is upset with my office and calls 100 times a day.

6 calls from this number in a 30 minute period. Didn't answer the first 5 times, because I didn't know the number... I'm on Verizon, so I don't know why Sprint would be calling me. Husband came home, & complained he'd called me twice & I didn't answer. So the other 4calls make no sense. When I did answer, I got nothing. When I called it back, it wasn't a working number. I don't care who this belongs to, they need to fix it.
