was in an email I received on my a craigslist listing.

was he legit?

This number was also given in several email responding to my craiglist listing, by dan_buzan@gmail.com, offering to send certified check and having shipping company pick up the items.  It sounded too glib to be true and call to the number only got some generic announcement.  This seems like a scam.

I also have been been responded to on craigs by this number.
With that email address also...
This person should not be trusted.

For mine - otherwise it is identical response - withdraw the advert etc.

I received the exact same email. Scammers every where. I was a little worried after I received this email because I was stupid enough to call the phone number. I was glad it wasn't one of those that cost 2500 just to call. Craigs listers be careful.

I got a similar reply to my craigslist listings today. One was from James Collins, with the identical phone number, and another from osorlando32..@googlemail.com who wanted me to stop the 'advert'.

Same here - first responded to craigslist ad in Colorado by emailing "still for sale" (no punctuation).  Then upon my dumb reply I get the same Engrish about my "advert":

It sounds too good to be true, even after he responded to my email with the SPAM ALERT clearly stating tp avoid cashier's check.

Beware... I only acknowledged his email to see if I still had the item.

I got the same one from 206-203-4278 as well as this one. Read it backwards


I will have loved to come pay you in cash but im always busy in the office...i will assure you that the check you will be sent will not give problems as you might have experienced in the past...If you are willing to continue send me yours:

i recieved same message from donbuzan, about my craigslist item, whats the scam,how does he do it? he says he will send certified check, did he send you a check for your item, did he follow thru with the transaction or did he just disapear.
