***TEXT MESSAGE // IDENTITY THEFT // PHISHING ATTEMPT***

There, I posted the important part nice and big. :)

Received two text messages from [long number]@[marketing website] on my phone this afternoon instructing me to contact account services at 206-203-5621. After the second text, I decided to call the number and see what's up. An automated message answered, informing me that my prepaid card (that I do not own) has been temporarily disabled due to a technical error; it wanted my 9-digit SSN to confirm my identity.

HAHAHA NO.

I'll update this post again with more information if I receive another message.

Received text message from 20677934893246230@kinticweb.com that just said "Call 206-203-5621"
I didn't call; just searched and found this. It's clearly bogus.

Just received the same message today, and it doesn't make sense considering my financial activity, either.  Phishing.

Just got 2 of these TXT messages. Kinetic Web web sight, no doubt stolen, was asked to contact the Acheive Dept.

I received two messages from this number :"(ContactAchieveDepartment) Call 206-203-5621"
Not even going to try. DELETE

Got a automated voice mail from this number the day before. Message only had about 3 words since it obviously played as soon as my voice mail picked up and not much was actually recorded. Next day I got the text message from same number at 4am, telling me to call the Achieve Department. Did my research, they used a local number on the text saying @kineticweb.com and message said (Call Achieve Department) with this 206 number listed. Kineticweb.com is located in Pennsylvania, NOT Washington State. From others I have read, total scam.

SCAM SCAM got the text message that says contact wells fargo bank and then the phone # 541 631-2322. don't even bank there didn't respond. SCAM

I got a text message at 9:37 pm est. Saturday night from 47021505@kineticweb.com. The message content was:  [WF-bank] your immediate attention is needed.  please call (541)631-2322. I called the number for informational purposes only. I received a poorly prerecorded computer generated message informing me that my wells Fargo debit card had failed do to technical difficulties and to please enter my 9 digit SS # .  I too followed googled search back to a marketing website kineticweb.com.

I did have accounts at wells Fargo up until 2012 .However,  it shouldn't take a rocket scientists to know that a financial institution would never call you for this information over the phone. It's clearly a scam and should be reported immediately.  

Got one from a different number. It was a 541 number instead of the 206 but the were using the kineticweb.com  thing.

Just got this text too.  What a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just a call from this number some wells Fargo bank asking for.my ssn totally a scam should be reported. ..

I received the bogus text message as well, pretending to be from wells fargo.  I have an account there but know there is no reason a bank would contact you via a text message.
