Call back immediately for an urgent message.  Call back and supposedly there is a lawsuit filed against me which there is not.  When I called him on it he stopped talking.

Recording that told me there was an IRS warrant in my name and to call back immediately.

Threatening me with an IRS dept? 206-259-5743!  Called these cowards back and they can't be reached.  How rich is that😡😡.  Still waiting on the cops you creeps.

They can't be prosecuted.  Callers are located in India and Pakistan and as such beyond the reach of US law.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

Anyone hit by these IRS scams should consider blocking the following area codes:
206  253  360  425 509  564  also area code  202.  The stupid scammers don't understand the difference between Washington State and Washington DC.   They think that the people they call will think that the Washington State area code calls  come from Washington DC.

Called and left a message that I needed to call them back right away, something about a warrant. First off, the police do not call you and tell you there is a warrant for your arrest. Second, I haven't done anything to be arrested for. Third, they never identify themselves.

rec'd call from 206-259-5743.   they left a  purporting to be a police officer:
 <male synthesized voice>   "(some number?) this is officer john (*garbled* ) and moment you receive this message, you need to call us back immediately at our department number 206-259-5743.  I repeat 206-259-5743.  as this is a matter of urgency,  I am looking forward to speak to you.  thank you."  <female synthesized voice> "goodbye"

information states the possible owner of phone number 206-259-5743 is: UNAVAILABLE near VASHON, WA.
reported call and number to local law enforcement.  blocked number.

Electronic male voice identify himself as police officer threatening to arrest if dI'd not return phone call.  Got so many fake IRS calls from different numbers with each blocking.  All started after joining an online rewards program. No longer with this reward program. Don't join Insta G C.

Said the us treasury reported problem with my taxes and federal criminal offenses would be brought against me if I don't respond. Concerned about them taking advantage of more naive people.

The people called claiming to be the IRS a person with an middle eastern/ Indian accent and said I was going to be arrested, needed an attorney and was charged with tax fraud!!! Complete scam ended up wanting a payment by gift card?? Was at first pretty convincing and then it all fell apart... Really disgusting people.
