- AnnoyedThey made it sound like they were with my bank and were offering to lower my interest rate on my visa. When I asked them which bank they could not say specfically but said they work with a number of banks and listed the major ones. When I started to ask more questions b/c I was suspicious they hung up on me.

- VanessaFasIt's a scam call from a place saying they're going to reduce your CC rate. Which is funny, since I don't have any CCs. I press 0-0-0-1, then it disconnected itself. But the same auto-voice calls all the time, and this is just one of many numbers.
- just Me| 1 replyI missed the call today. The press 3 to be removed (or whatever) only leads to a fast busy and more calls since they know it is a valid number. That's why I have taken to pressing 1 (or whatever) to speak to a live person. Then I tell them I need to reduce my debt. I have $50,000 in credit cards, and $120,000 in med. I am disabled and can't work. Click. They hang up. Ah... if they are going to waste my time, I might as well waste theirs.

- mados| 1 replyGot a message on 07.30.2011: "your eligibility would expire shortly"..click this and that "to lower your interest rate" or "press the number 3 to discontinue further notices" (why worry to discontinue further notices if my so called *eligibility* would expire shortly anyway?). I never answer such calls, but they are terribly annoying, and I am on the DoNotCall list.
No caller ID on my answering machine, only the phone number of the caller, which is shown as 112062795134. Why the 11? Does this call comes from another country?- Caller: No caller ID shown
- RevI get this call about 12 to 15 times a week. Always wanting to reduce my credit card interest rate. Isn't there any way someone can trace these calls and do something about it?? I am on the National Do Not Call Lists but that doesn't help from getting the calls.
- Lin| 1 replyUsually when I get these calls about "lowering" my rate the number is blocked. This morning the number above was listed in the caller ID. When I called that number I got a recorded message from the FTC talking about fisching email messages. Don't understand that, but obviously these calls are from criminals trying to steal identities. Normally I don't even pick up but I may next time just to listen to their spiel. Hard to understand why these people can't be caught, but I think the only way we will ever even begin to defeat these scumbags is to never, never, ever answer their calls. I know they're annoying, but if you have an answering machine you can just turn down the volume and let 'em call and call and call - which of course they will.

- booCaler ID says simply, Seattle, WA doesn't leave message when it goes to voice mail. If I answer, it's a recorded message saying I have an important message for you regarding your account - but never says what account or what bank, etc. It's complete fraud - and seems to be phishing as well.
