It was a recording that said the IRS was filing a lawsuit for unpaid taxes.

It says the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to please call immediately

Received a call from this number at 1:16 PM September 16. Was notified. This was the final notice that the IRS was filing charges and call the listed number of immediately. Caller ID show the call from Bainbridge Island, Washington. Very obviously a scam.

Received same call as others in this post, voice sounded to be of middle Eastern descent.  He asked for my name and social security number, and I told him if he was from the IRS, he should have my name and social, so if he repeated it, I would let him know if he was correct.  He promptly hung up.  SCAM!!!!

Scam!!!! IRS doesn't  call!!! NEVER. If there is an issue you'll get an official letter.

Received a call from this number and they left an automated voicemail the same as other callers indicating it was a call from the IRS and they are filing a lawsuit against me. If they were the IRS, they would have left a message with my name and not just an automated voicemail.

Yeah, just got a call from same number. Recorded and when called was busy. I got same type of call 4 months ago. Person had a Middle eastern accent. NEVER give them anything. IRS sends certified mail. SCAMMER !

Got a from this number today. Said I was being sued by the IRS.

Got a call from this number today.  They left a msg saying it was the IRS for tax fraud issues. I called the number.  Total scam.  I had a friend call the number and gave a fake number and name.  No other info was given to the person on the other line.  They started telling him that he is being sued by the IRS for tax fraud.  After that, my caller with the fake name told them that you are a scammed and the police our on their way to you location  right now.  They hung up...

Received same voice mail at 8:45 a.m. on September 17. Female automated system stating this was final notice that the IRS was filing charges.  Then said to call for further information immediately and repeated 206 317 1487 twice...  Another scam...

Got a call from this number on Sept 17, left voicemail saying it was final notice.  Tried calling back and just rang because I wanted to tell them to stop calling.

Voice message indicating law suit from IRS and call this #. No case file reference given. Tried calling on Skype and phone is always busy. Should I get through I'll ammend this post.

Got a message from. Irs, said to. Call. . Accused of fraud. Wanted money now.  It's as scam.

As with the other post, received a voice mail claiming the IRS was going to sue me. I filed a complaint online through ftc.gov.

Received call.  Same message as everyone here.  Dealt with IRS previously. This is total scam.
