Scammers calling claiming to be from the IRS. Give call back number as 206-317-1577. Definitely a scam as they threaten to call cops, threaten families etc. Any person who does decide to call them should make sure to fully record the phone call to send to the authorities.

Caller claim to be i r s and has threatened to call cops and have me arrested.

They just called me too and said they were the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. How do we notify authorities of this? Will they even do anything?

Had a recorded robo-message stating I was being informed of a lawsuit by the IRS (incoming # was 225.406.3486). It stated to call back 206.317.1577.  I tried the number and an East Indian woman answered saying "Thank you for calling the IRS, how may I help you?"

Robo call - definitely a scam- don't call

Claim it was a call for the IRS as charges are pending against me call 206-317-1955.  When I called them he mentioned they were in Washington, DC, but gave a Oregon Phone Number.  It was of mid-eastern accent .  When I mentioned what is that about.  He said I will be filing more charges against you as well.  When I called back it went to busy and continuous busy.  I called the IRS and they mentioned it was a scam.  They need to get a real job instead of harassing honest telemarketers that are working.

Got the same phone call but didn't return it as I knew that the IRS wouldn't use a robocall to tell me I'm being sued.

Got robocall on my voicemail telling me the IRS, Internal Revenue Service, was going to file lawsuit against me.  The phone was out of service when I tried to call.  Felt like a scam, these other posts prove it was.

Got a call that said I was being sued by the irs. The irs does not call you any contact with its will be in writing

Report the Calls to the real IRS here:

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
