I have been called, as of today, and got a reference number to call urgently IRS hot line.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

they are criminals

I have been called from the same number 206 319-0042 and the guy said he is from IRS  and I need to call him right away became iis a  legal note filed against me and a serousl litigation takes place. I called back and nobody pick up the phone. I decided  to go on Internet and look does this number has any connection with IRS. And thanks to all information I founded I got its a fraud

called me claiming to be from irs.

Got the same call as everyone caller stating they are from the IRS.  Obviously a fraud as the IRS conducts business via US Mail.  Just wondering how would they benefit by these calls?  Or are they just trying to get SS numbers for identity theft?

We received a call from 206*319*0042.   Supposedly from the IRS.  There is no such number identified on the IRS website.

Called my 80 year old parents stating he (Mike Anderson) was with the Justice Department and needed to talk to them about money owed to them .

Called me from 206-319-2938  on January 25, 2016 at 11:03 am with automated call claiming I needed to call the I.R.S. at the same number.  My caller I.D. shows that it is a cell number from WA.

Missed this call twice, and I'm in London, England! I'll definitely pick it up next time - looking forward to taking them on a long meandering boring time wasting journey of a call.
