Left message regarding service call?  What the heck?

206-395-7171 Called 4 times in the last three days, as early as 9 am and as late as 8:30 pm. Never left a message. So what do well have in common?

First call received Friday around 11 am EST, second call received Monday around 11 am EST. No idea who or why.

I live in MPLS, MN-Had my wife's Caliber Serviced for a recall I am thinking it's a survey company asking how it went...

I've been getting calls from this number for a couple of weeks. But today when I came home from work, I had 8 voicemails from them that's a bit much.  I tried to call the number back and couldn't get an answer.

I live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, don't own a vehicle from Chrysler Jeep Dodge and do not recall recently receiving service from any other facility. I've had two more calls from same number since my post yesterday but no messages. Looking into process to block this number.

I also have received 2 calls from this number in the past two days.  I received one last night at 7:15 PM CST and they left no message.  I received one this morning at 11:02 AM CST and they said "hello" twice and then hung up.  I live in Minneapolis metropolitan area, same as MPLS.

i just received a call from the same number and it is registered under verafast. The man on the other side said that star tribune is sending out a new paper in september and wanted to see if i was interested.

Received a call from this number last night and they left a "service call" message. Received another call this morning at 11.45 am, did not speak anything and hung up. Minneapolis metro area.

Seems to be star tribune giving away free paper in september.

I keep getting these annoying calls on my cell phone. No message and no one replies when I answer it. How do we stop this crap????

...as far as I know, if you pick up when that number calls and tell them the number they're calling is a wireless number, they're legally required to not call that number again (- I believe it's still illegal in most states to solicit a phone number where the recipient can be charged for the incoming call).  Also, just to be thorough, while you have them them on the line, take the callers name and tell him/her you're logging the date/time of the call and very clearly tell them that 1.) you want to be added to their list of "Do Not Call" and "Do Not Share" numbers and 2.) if they or one of their affiliates contact you again, you are aware that you have legal recourse to go after them for harassment.   That usually stops it right away.  Good Luck!

I get a call or two a day on my cell from this number (have it set up to go straight to voicemail) but they never leave a message.  Suddenly today they left a voicemail and the girl said over and over again that it was extremely urgent & important I call back as soon as I get the message.  I hope the Star Trib isn't using the scare tactic to sell or give away a paper.  In the MPLS area too.

THE CALLER ID SAID VERAFAST.  THE AUTOMATED MESSAGE SAID IT WAS A SERVICE VERIFICATION.  I BLOCKED THE NUMBER WITH MY CALL REJECTION SERVICE.  I HAVE BEEN ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY FOR SOME TIME, BUT THIS ONE SEEMS TO HAVE GOTTEN THROUGH.  YEARS AGO I HAD DELIVERY OF THE STAR TRIBUNE, BUT HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THEM IN YEARS.  I DON'T KNOW WHAT VERAFAST IS OR WANTS.

I called the number back.  I got an automated message saying that if I wanted my number placed on there DO NOT CALL list, I should enter my number.  They verified my number then told me my number would be be deleted from their call list within 2 days.  They never identified themselves

Just got a call today after 18 missed calls from them.  It was to subscribe to the LA Times....I dont even live in LA.
