Got a call, no message...wonder who this is?

got a call from this number @ 9am...didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number...i blocked my number & called back several hours later (hoping it was one of the many sweepstakes that I entered), but no answer...

I just tried calling this number again...An automated system answered..."Thank you for calling customer service.  If you would like your number removed from our call list, please enter...etc"...i enteed my phone number (my cell) and it will be removed within 2 days...

Got a vm ob mt home phone tonite saying "...we'll call you back later...."  no name or purpose.

I got a call, didn't answer. Left a voicemail with female voice saying "Thank you" and that's it. Couldn't tell if it was an automated message or not.

I just got a call.  It went to voice mail and just said, "thank you"  I don't know what company this is and I'm not calling it back.

Got the same call from this #, I don't return calls unless I know WHO or they leave a message,,so stop wasting your time and go away!

They call several times a day, leave an automated message about service verification.  I don't and won't answer

Got a call on my cell, no message left.

Called it back from my land line, and it rang and rang, then busy signal.

Picked up the call.  The caller said he was from LA Times and called to notify me of additional free dates of delivery.

This is the LA Times calling about a free promotion/free additional delivery dates of the newspaper. I called the LA Times subscription 800# on their website myself afterwards to verify that it was really them and not a scam company. They confirmed the phone call and the promotion.

We keep getting calls from that number too and sometimes they just hang up, other times it says this a service varification and will call back.  I don't answer calls unless I know who they are or if they list their name or business...my time is too valuable!

We have gotten this call every day for the past several days.  Caller ID says "VeraFast".  Message left says, "We are galling for a service verification, we will call back at another time".

Got a call from this number...answered...was the LA Times thanking me for being a customer and advising they would be increasing my days of delivery from 4 to 7 at no additional cost.

Caller ID said "Washington". They wanted to deliver The Examiner and had never heard of the Do Not Call List.
