This number called me and said they was with the IRS and they was taking me to jail unless i paid them a ex amount of money

Ditto!  Got the same call TWICE, each with different names and telephone numbers.  Both callers left messages on my phone saying I was about to be arrested and carried to jail, also said DO NOT DISMISS THIS CALL.  BLAH BLAH BLAH....  Heard on this morning's news about the scam.  This scammer wanted over $11,000.  HA!

Called me and said they were Advance America and my loan was approved.  Scammers!

Called me three times in 5 minutes. I called back and they answered Advanced America. I hung up and then they proceeded to call me another 3 times before I blocked the number.  SCAMMERS!!!

Just got a call from this number.  Didn't answer it because the number was not familiar.  Called the number back and they said that they were Advance America.  The guy who answered the call had a Southeast Asian Accent (Indian).  Hung up.  I have received so very many calls from these kind of callers.  I even got ripped off once.  I automatically block these numbers now.  DO THE SAME!

One day, they're the IRS, the next day, they're Advance America.

By the way, when I mentioned the assumption of a Southeast Asian (Indian) accent, i didn't mean to be racist.  I am Asian American myself.  These people, who we outsource business too - take advantage bigtime!  We need to give Americans jobs first!

They called me numerous times, I finally answered and in broken English he said he was the FBI, and I was going to jail unless I paid a specific amount of money. I asked why the FBI was demanding money from me and who he was, he got irritated when I questioned him and said f you [***] and hung up.

I got a call from a 911 number (not thinking) I picked up quickly asking who was this and what was wrong? Guy says his name is Paul Wise I believe very thick accent. He told me (very nicely) I owed 896.39 and that my city police would be at my home to arrest me and I would be detained for 90 days. I instantly thought "SCAM". He proceeds to inform me all this information that I could barley understand then says he'll call give me until 5pm to pay at least $200 and pay the other remaining amount later. Smh bc the number scared me! But don't trust it, I called the number back somebody name Angela answered the phone and he said this was his direct number. SCAMMERS!!!!
