IRS Scammer

This automated call purports to be from the IRS, saying a lawsuit is being filed against you, and it is urgent that you call back. No name is given, no other identifying information. Since the IRS knows where to mail us about a problem and what our names are, it is obviously a scam. I'm wondering how often it works.

Call from "IRS" saying a lawsuit has been filed against me. Snort. Phishing for a social security number, and then it's all over. I hate it when callers like this think I'm stupid.

Same thing as other people have noted.  IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  They can go to h***!

I got the scam call today at about 11:30 a.m. on my home answering machine.

This is a scam!
IRS does not call you at home and does not leave messages!
They notify you by mail.

robo call to my cell (Detroit area code). "Final notice from IRS..." that lien being...then i hung up on the asshat robo caller and blocked the contact in my iPhone

Obviously a scam.  The IRS doe not contact you by phone.  Please people, do not fall for this.

Received call from individual posing as IRS and that I need to call this number as they are creating a lawsuit against me.

Got a call while at work. Went to voicemail with automated message saying a lawsuit was being filed by the IRS against me.

This FAKE, automated call purports to be from the IRS, saying a lawsuit is being filed against you, and it is urgent that you call back. No name is given, and no other identifying information. The IRS still uses the US Postl Service to notify people of ANYTHING, not automated phone calls.

From this phone number I received a few phone calls claiming that this was a final notice from the IRS. I knew it was bogus. This is a big lie!!!!!!!

they are just fishing for your personal info dont buy into their game

the irs weill send you letters way before calling if you have not received any mail then do not worry

i believe its called identity theft!
