I just received a call on my mobile from an unknown caller at 1-206-445-6971. I am on the do not call list, and I don't give this number out to non-family, so they must be randomly cycling through the number pool.

I don't buy anything over the phone or online, so they are wasting their time.

Time: 19:30 UTC / 12:30 Pacific.

another annoying caller as I don't owe so I can guess if this is a caller trying to steal id   if owed they may be caller trying to collect for someone else  beware of creepy phone call people

caller id:   SERVICE MESSAGE  When they got the machine they hung up.  Who is this caller?  I get alot of collection calls for other people?

I had one of thee calls on 3/30/2010 at 12:42 Central Time.  Same MO: I picked up the phone and the "caller" hung up.

Called and hung up as soon as I answered.  When I called back an automated answer service gave me an option to remove my number from their "special promotions" list.

They called me on 04/05/2010.  When I answered, they redirect a call to another line and appears like I was the person calling.... I hung up without know who was there. I am on NTC list.

I posted on Craigslist with my number yesterday and soon after got some strange emails and now this call.
Anyone else recently post to Craigslist?

I too am on the National Do Not Call List. Apparently it does not mean much to these people. They must get around it by giving you the option to op out of their own particular list, as the automated response to my call back eluded to.

I recieved a call today 4-5-10 at 2 p.m. No message was left. I am on the NDCL and don't understand how they got my cell number!

on April5 i got called by the same number and when i picked up it seemed like i was calling someone so i just hung.

I answered the phone to this random person screaming at me about how my name was on the NDCL. I was like...no way sister and hung up.

Called my work-issued cell phone (a number that I do not give out).  Message from "Warren Baker" with US Consumer Advocates hawking"Debt elimination" - "You received this call because you signed up with one of our associates" (B.S.!!!!)  Number to call back - 949-630-6685

I called back and the voice message has an option to be put on DNC list.

Got a call from the same number, when answered, it calls another line and makes me out to be the caller.  Then it hung up.
