Yes, just had a call from this number.  I was in the middle of something so I did not answer.  No message left.  It's from Merchant Freedom Network.  A recording says they are helping others....etc.  I hung up.  Maybe I'll answer the next time.

Calls and leaves no message. ID simply states "Washington Call".

i had that problem also, they called me 6 times in two days, 5 of them they just hung up when i answerd, the sixth time they said some type of marketing service, i told them i know where they are  in bainbridge island,catsip county wa. and they are being reported , and they immedietly hung up.

its a scam. there trying to steal personal info. possibly tapping into phone info. they are located in bainbridge island, catsip county wa.   next time tell them you know where they are and they are being reported. i did it to them about 2 hours ago, and they immedietly hungup. but i did file a report.  goto fcc.gov   file a complaint, it takes some time, but the fcc does go after these type of people. hope this helps you.

Random calls.  No answer.

Has been calling every day for a week and hangs up. I'm reporting the number.

They call and then hang up, I called the number back and the recording says merchant freedom network

They call frequently but never leave a message when I don't answer. They were calling me on a different number which I called, only to encounter a recorded message. I blocked that number so now they're calling me on this number. Same caller, no message and call to them elicits the same recorded message. I reported them to the FCC and also blocked this new number. The recording identifies them as "MERCHANT FREEDOM SERVICES" which is obviously a telemarketer.

It blows my mind how blatantly telemarketers violate the Do Not Call Registry. The one benefit of being on the registry is when you actually gather evidence and make a compliant. However, there really has to be thousands of people filing a compliant against a particular offender. So please do report these calls at fcc.gov

just save their number to your address book as Telemkt#1 and then open up the address book and divert their calls straight to voicemail.... I love it

Harassing calls to be stopped.

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru.
But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

It is amazing that such a crooked practice is allowed to go on!
Where are the feds when I need them????? I wrote to my US Rep...no response!

Bottom line: IGNORE IT and never give the other side ANY information. PERIOD!

They call and hang up.   Guess I will have to put them on hold next time they call.  Don't they know the Do-Not-Call list is to protect THEM from my wrath?   :-)

For me, it is real harassment as I take care of someone who is ill and wont get better, and taking of this person keeps me very busy.  The phone ringing so often drives me nuts.

i guess this is a new twist ,the call was picked up by the answering mechine and a womam demanded that she wanted  her $10.00.

2 calls within 5 minutes...I answer with "this is Bob"  and I get no response
