206-451-9513 showed up on caller-id.  area code is Bainbridge IS/Seattle WA.  Pre-recorded message saying that "This is the final call from the IRS..."  I hung up at that point.  Show this as a scammer with a spoofed number.

I just received a call from this number ..Friday, 3/12/2016 am..................................................................................................              .Attention to all..I am a Tax Accountant and the IRS will never call you and call to threaten you to return a call, they will mail you a letter, certified...........

"IRS is coming after me in a lawsuit" according to pre-recorded message. 2/12/16

Just received a call from this number, tried to collect from me $3,714.00 and needed to pay $900 today before the court starts against me, he wanted me to go to my bank and get the money, he was going to wait in the line until I get it and will give me instructions , I almost believed for a minute, he said that there was a warrant on me, and I was going to be picked up and go to jail......

Just called again, 4 and a half hours later.  What Jerks.

Received a call from this number stated i needed to call them back, they are the IRS and this is my final call.

Just got a call from this place they needed 3,714 now or I would be picked up and go to jail if I didn't pay. I said ok I will go to the police station and turn myself in. I asked what do I tell them? They called me a f@&"@ idiot. Lol

Unknown on CID left voicemail saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and call this number back for information. I was really scared, I'm sure the IRS leaves robocalls all the time!!

I use to collect all kinds of debt.  The IRS would send you a  letter first.  Please contact your local FBI office as I have done today.  These people are scamming!

I legit thought this was the IRS, they try calling me but good thing I never actually talk to them.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.   Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

Scam Recordng - says they are IRS and will file suit.  These scammers should be incarcerated for 50+ years.

I received a pre-recorded call from this number saying they are the IRS and owe them money!  What a scam.  I will call them back later and give them a piece of my mind!

Called and left a partial VM using a machine-generated message. Stated I needed to call this number immediately. Another scam. See notes above from CWG40. Saw the same information about how the IRS operates on the local news. This is definitely a scam.
