Robot tells me the IRS has started a lawsuit against me. I hung up

Robot lady robot that says IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.

called saying Irs has filed a law suit please call # bla bla. IRS never calls you a leaves their intent. You will always get mail with request to contact such and such at IRS. 2nd call 20 Mins later saying "This is final notice that IRS is filing law suit but this time call 360 2033294. First call was from 206 4523318 . Don't return calls to these numbers. Report call and what they say to IRS and local officials and websites like this.

I got the same call in AZ from this number 2 calls so far.

I received the same call with the same message at noon today.

Got the same call twice. 2 minutes apart with different voices.  Says the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.

Exactly the same, robot, female voice, claiming to be IRS
stating they are filing a lawsuit.  This is a scam.

Long Island, NY. Same thing.  The IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. Called at about 1:30 PM EST.

Just got a robocall saying it was the IRS and they were suing me and to call back 2064523318. Obviously a scam, but googled the number to make sure and yes it is a scam.

I never pick up a call if I don't know the number anymore. People can leave a message. Robo call saying that the IRS is going to sue me etc. This is a constant issue from different numbers. They actually look up your information online and pull personal things like if you have a dog, your age and even your street address. their freaking bullies

I got a phone call this afternoon threatening to sue me call 1-206-452-3318. Call back and the person answered the phone with a foreign accent wanting me to pay. When I ask him the name of his business he hung up. Called back again to inform him that this phone number is being reported to the IRS (the real IRS).

Robot left call, very hard to understand.  Something about a case file and I had to return call immediately.

These [***] call my phone every day. They finally left me a voicemail saying that the "IRS" is filling a lawsuit against me. BYE! All lies people. Don't give them your info!

The same is happening too.  They area also using 360-200-4249.

The "female" robot caller said she was from Internal Revenue Services (with an "s"), so that raised my suspicions immediately. Glad to be able to come here to verify that it was just a scam. (Not that I know of anything the real IRS would be after us for.)

Massachusetts # but living in CA - got this call 5 minutes ago but the voicemail cut off the first part so i only heard "lawsuit against you.." please call a number. Anything we can do to prevent this? I put my number on the do not call list a few months ago and still get these.

The DNC registry list is based upon the honor system and applies to Legitimate American based businesses who use telephone sales as a tool and are registered as such with the FTC.  They are required to purchase and honor the DNC list.  Your caller is a Criminal, there is no honor with any criminal. Their livelyhood is based upon lies and deceit.  BTW:   I hope you read everything when signing up for the DNC list.  Most don't and most assume the DNC protects them against all unwanted calls.  It does not and was not intended to. It was created only to limit sales calls from the afore mentioned American based businesses.
