woman with very heavy Indian accent telling me there was a problem with my computer and that she would tell me how to fix.  told her where to go!!

Just recieved a call from this number.  Man with heavy almost not understandable accent tried to tell me that he was calling from Microsoft and that my computer was being accessed from afar and personal data was being given to others.  I hung up and did this research.  Thought it was fishy and now I found out it was PHISHING.

Got a call from a caller with an Asian accent. I couldn't really understand him but could understand enough to know he wanted to get into my computer. He said there was some type of foreign something that was being put on my Windows and he wanted me to go into Enternet exployer so he could fix it. I told him after he had called me back for the 3rd time I did not feel comfortable with what he was trying to do so he hung up on me.

Call from an unintelligible man w/Indian accent.  Wanted to talk to me regarding my education?  Told him NO.  Then he called back twice.

Got call at 17:30 CT and no message left

Received a call from this 206-456-0661 @ 5:20pm EST from a male, calling me by my last name. Attempting to tell and that my hardrive was being tampered with. If I would go to my computer he would tell me how to fix it. I responded that nothing is up with my computer, however if there was a technician would take a look @ it. He fumbled with his words about my comment and I hung up on him. What dicks!!! They certainly have time...

got this call with a man with heavy indian accent stating there is a problem with our pc.
Wanted us to press certian keys on our pc. Called him on being a scammer and he hung up

they keep calling and not saying nothing really pissing me off

two calls in past two days, both with almost incomprehensible Indian accents.  First call claimed that they had been getting messages from my Microsoft computer that it was having problems, second call claiming to be from the Technical Information Department (company not specified).  Both calls came up on Caller ID as "Unnassigned".

Indian-accented caller said he was calling about my microsoft computer. Called repeatedly even after I called him a scammer and hung up on him. Has tried calling multiple days, including 5 times in a row on Saturday January 27.

Glad I found this site.  I just got a call from a man with a thick Indian accent stating he was from Microsoft.  He said they are getting error messages from my computer and wanted me to go to my computer.  I told him I didn't appreciate his call and that I want the name and number of his company.  He hung up.  Be careful!

Got this phone call as well, How do we block him from calling?

Also received repeated calls and someone named Don made the same claim.

Two calls from this number both started out with loud music in the background.  First one no message.  Second one sounded like a stoned kid just repeating hello, after I said it.  Then hung up.

I have been getting calls from these idiots for the couple of days. A man with a barely intelligible accent first called saying something about a grant, hung up on him. Then called 3 more times saying i have an error on my computer. I asked "how the hell do you know?" He said something i couldnt understand, then i said "look you need to learn to speak english before you go calling folks house" and hung up. I just called the number back and there is a message about phishing! Im confused! Im wondering how they are  my #. Ive had weird things happen lately every since i called a number in the classifieds about a job. My email was hacked after i gave them my email address to send me some assessments. Has anyone had this happen? How to stop them?

block this caller, they must be up to no good, I don't answer unknown numbers, waist of time and minutes

I got the same call yesterday. A guy with heavy Pakastani/Indian accent told me there was a problem with my computer.He also said he was from microsoft. tried to ask him which computer and whp was he. Finally hung up and blocked that number.

Received a call yesterday from the aforementioned number, with the caller wanting access to my computer. What concerned me is they knew my name. The caller was very aggressive, abrupt and rude. Upon completing some research the number originates in Washington D.C. If the reverse telephone look up is correct, then this is listed as being assigned as the landline of International Telecom Ltd., a large privately owned company with various communication specialty applications, including automatic call back features. However, the company itself lists a different contact number on its web page. Whatever the case, the 206 number, in conjuntion with the reverse phone lookup feature, is offering ITL a horrendous public relations nightmare. Perhaps, being a giant in the telecommunications industry, they might have the resources to  take initiative in order restore a modicum of goodwill and do something about questionable individuals tarnishing and hijacking their corporate brand. My concern is for those who are overly trusting, such as the very young and elderly.

They called saying this is the US Govt Dept of Education and we have a laptop for you then they transferred me to a college advisor
