Yur are so right Karen c. I returned call & just the back round noise told me something is off.when I told person calling local t.v.station reported it's doesn't make call 2 homes he replied yur TV station is wrong that's when I Googled the number thanks for the heads up

This is a big scam warn others about this fake IRS scam. They told me I was going to Jail lol I will lose everything if I don't pay them 3k and wanted me to to a Walmart and send it in I tune gift cards they acted like they where a officers fake bade number. This scam been around for years  the IRS will mail letters these scammers are in India

Yes , I  just got a automated  message  ,threatening  prosecution!  I the that  called  back and there was no answer.  I was too slow  to get the  number  I was supposed  to call.

I received this call to, they told me that I have to pay them like2600$ for one time tax that I didn't pay, omg, I already payed like 1500, but yeah they asked me to do it by gift cards, and all of the people I talk to where from India,  and they told me that this case goes to court. And I have 24h to do this.

Scam Google IRS scam calls look it up online and read about this IRS scam. This is sad they called me with voice telling me to call the about a lawsuit I already knew it was a scam I called back blocked my number just to hear them try too scam. Told me the police will be here in 1 hour if I did not pay them told me to go tthe government store Walmart,or cvs and stay on the phone with them the whole time don't tell nobody and waited me get 4 500 gift cards or 4 I tune gift cards. Than I told I knew it was scam and he cursed me out in Hindu. Let the stores no about these scams save some one else from getting scamed they look for victims all day long to scam.

Why would the IRS leave you a crappy made voice mail if they were going to arrest you? How many people do you know in your lifetime ever arrested by the IRS without a boat load of harassment letters and court cases? Come on people use your common sense! BLOCK IT

I feel special--I keep hearing about these IRS scam calls and never received one until now.  I'll take my chances on being taken into custody LOL   Didn't call back, just listened to the really bad/choppy robot voice recording.

Said it was IRS. When I told them irs doesn't call people he called me a dumb a$$ f?.' face and hung up.

This number is leaving me threats they going to bring charges against me I will not call them back because I know it is anot her scam call

I just received a call from this number. The recording said that if I did not pay within 24 hours the local "Copes" would show up to arrest me. I laughed and hung up. Really if you are going to scam someone at least use the right verbiage. Stay safe out there my friends.

I called them back, I kept making names and number up each time - it was a lot of fun :)

Since I have a text voicemail here is the message I received from this number and my caller ID says Potential Spam

We have just received a notification regarding your tax filings from the headquarters which will get expired in the next 24 working hours and once it get expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any action against you. The number to reach us is 206-483-0047. I repeat 206-483-0047. Thank you. Goodbye.

Scam Call from someone claiming they are the IRS and I will be arrested for tax evation

Same ole scam.....call them back and be hysterical...it's funny.
