Called me twice today without leaving a message. I called back with *67 and the male person with a south Asian accent who answered said "Why are you calling us again and again?" LOL. I said "Why are YOU calling ME again and again?" He apologized and said they wouldn't call again. He's right, since I've now blocked the number.

I received a call today from this number with an electronic automaton voice claiming that I or my attorney needed to contact them immediately. I'm sure that this is another scam trying to prey opon innocent, unsuspecting people. I just tried to call them but no one answered. I cannot WAIT to get these guys on the phone and let them know they've been reported. More than once. Is there no recourse against these people?!

Callers are most likely Indian or Pakistani hard core scammer/extortionists.  As such they are outside the reach of US law.  They spoof area codes 206 and 202 all the time.  Area code 206 is Washington State and area code 202 is Washington DC.  The callers don't understand the difference, so they use them interchangeably on their CIDs to make people feel the calls are coming from US government agencies. Common scam.   Ignore and block the calls.

I received a call this Am at 8:15 EST. No one left message. When I called the number a Asian speaking male answered US Treasury. I told him not to call here again. Kept saying "but Mamam listen" when I told him to remove my number and that he was a scam and I would report the call. He hung up.

We receive the calls several times a day and I returned the call I received today.  The person who picked us the line gave no name but identified themselves as being with the Dept of Treasury.  I know informed him he was committing a crime would be punished.  As you might expect, he hung up on me.  I will block the number.

Must be tax season again:/ the scammers are very busy again. Calls past 2 days. One from 202 and other from 206........warn your friends especially the elderly of these calls as often are victims of predators on the phone:(

I got this call a out 20 minutes ago. Asian woman claiming I owed back taxes on 2015!  Stupid woman!  They aren't even due yet for 2015. I told her to don't call me again!

Recorded voice demanding that my attorney or I immediately call this number. Made it sound like a very serious situation "would unfold on {me}", if no action was taken.

Women with Asian accent claiming IRS has a warrant for my arrest, wanted me to go to a bank get a line of credit then she would tell me what to do after that. A scammer.........

Just got a voicemail from them claiming this was regarding a lawsuit from the IRS and to have me or my attorney contact them immediately. I wonder what would happen if I had the IRS attorney I have been working with give them a call? They'd just hang up I suppose.

CID reads 'Seattle WA.' A partial voicemail was left: a computer generated voice demanding immediate response to whatever had been said in the first (unrecorded) part of the message. I assumed, correctly it appears, that it was another IRS scam. Blocked.

I, too have received these scam calls from area codes 202 and 206. I've also received some from 213 in California.  The wording is much the same as many other people reported.

I received a message from this number on my home phone and when I called the person back, he identified himself as "Kevin Hill" badge number KH69284 from the U.S. Treasury.  He told me I had a criminal case against me for the years 2011 and 2013, and that if I hung up from this call, he would report me to the sheriff for arrest.  When I asked for the website address, he told me to "Shut up stupid lady".  At that point, I hung up.  I didn't give my full name, but he already knew it.  That's the scary part.

I got this notice as a text from a 202 area code:  This is Officer Richard Nelson from the Legal Department of Internal Revenue Service trying to reach you regarding the Case Number...  The very second you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney of records to return the call.  The issue is extremely time sensitive.  The direct line number is 206-486-0215.

The Do Not Call registry is not working! :-(

2012 and 2013 error made in payment (I iwed more).  Asked if I had an accountant I said yes.
Told me they sent forms Cp503c and Cp5040 to me and my accountant (don't have one!) to notify us.

I told him since he had the address to please deliver what he needed to in person and let me know when he would be here...so the police could be here too!  He hung up!

Stop calling me and say your the sheriff !

Received a "robotic message"on my voice mail, on 02/12/2016 stating I URGENTLY need to have my attorney to return this call. I called the number and received a live person who hung up on me when I asked questions.
