I have been getting unsolicited telephone calls rom this telephone for the last few weeks.  My telephone number is on the do not call registry.

called my cell and left no message.  I am on the DO NOT CALL

I added myself to their DO NOT CALL LIST on 09/27/2012 @1:55 PM and they called me to solicit again on 10/10/2012 @ 2:55 PM

I am registered with do not call list.

Called my Verizon cellphone that's on the Do Not Call registry today, October 22, 2012 at 4:21 PM EST. I will file a complaint.

This is a recording about reducing your mortgage.They also call from 973-273-7820. Tried to text back to Remove but it is invalid.

I also received a call from this number about lowering my mortgage. After I gave them some information, and started asking questions, they hung up on me. They gave me a website that had a phone number, but all you can do is leave a message. I left one, stating that I was contacting the government. By the way, the caller ID came up as Washington 206-496-0890 and his name was John. The do not call list does not work and never has. I signed up 3 times.

I'm in Phoenix, received call 12-28-12, 3:42p . . . automated message said "Important message about your mortgage. President Obama just signed $75 Billion stimulus package which includes homeowner protection laws.  The Gov't is requiring that your mortgage co make your mortgage more affordable.  Press 1 now if you are behind on your mortgage pmts, have an interest rate above 7%, have an adjustable rate mortgage or if you owe more than your home is worth.  You might be a victim of predatory lending & we can help.  You can benefit from the loan stimulus package with a loan restructure.  This is not a re-finance.  This is not based upon your credit score or your home's value. I asked who he is with / what company is calling me, he said we are "Home Retention".  I said "For who?  Wells Fargo?  Bank of America . . . ?"  He said "We're direct correspondents for all major banks".  I said you don't have a company name?  He again said "Home Retention".  I said "That's generic, but ok".  I explained situation (without giving any account or personal information & he did not ask for it) & he basically referred me to work back with my own mortgage company.  Apparently they can't help if you really do need it, so basically a big waste of time.

My number is on the Do Not Call Registry and I keep getting calls from this number, yet if one tries to call them back, one gets a message saying that it is a disconnected number belonging to Pacific Telecommunications Group.  How can they do that?  How can that be? They call at all hours of the day and night and I do not know what to do.

I am on the do-not-call for many months. These CASH SERVICES people are breaking the law.

Our office has received your complaint regarding the phone calls you have been receiving. We understand how annoying and frustrating it is to receive unwanted telephone calls.



Unfortunately, unscrupulous telemarketers use a variety of methods to conceal their true identity and location in order to avoid detection. Sometimes, telemarketers obtain telephone numbers that are assigned to certain area codes and assign those numbers to telephone equipment that is not located in that area code. Another method telemarketers use to avoid detection is “caller I.D. spoofing,” which means a telemarketer uses a false caller-identification number so that the phone number appearing on your caller I.D. is not the actual phone number of the telephone equipment placing the call.



We have determined that the telephone number you reported as the source of the calls is owned by Pacific Telecom Communications Group, which is located in Los Angeles, California. Pacific Telecom provides telephone numbers, many of which have Washington State area codes, to subscribers. However, many of the subscribers who obtain these telephone numbers from Pacific Telecom are not located in Washington State and could be located anywhere. Under these circumstances, there is very little this office can do to locate the physical presence of the party who is making the calls. However, you should report these calls to the Federal Trade Commission by filing a complaint online at: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.
