He's stupid enough to call me this morning on veterans day said that he is the IRS officer.

He's stupid to call me on veterans day around 2.15pm and said that he is the IRS officer.

Got the call twice - once saying he was from NJ police once saying NY police and there was a warrant for my arrest - called this number who said he was with IRS and I could pay my fines right now with credit card or checking info and it would go away. Except local police don't arrest for IRS dues!!!!

I received a call from 2065121480 from Officer Daniel Smith who didn't know how to read claiming to be from the Tax Crime Investigation department of IRS.  Called back, no answer.
Today I received two messages from a computer instructing me to turn myself into the local police because of a federal complaint or call officer John Harris at 2065121429.  He's not answering either.  Glad to see other posts confirm my suspicion of this not being important at all.

Got the same call at 1.45PM. The recording said to turn myself to the police or call them. The first time I called and almost fell into their scam. My advice is to just delete the call. I cannot believe that there is no way to stop this number!!!

I just received a call from the local county number leaving me a message to call an Officer Kevin Brown at 206-512-1480 and  to turn myself in to the local police because of several complaints that have been received about me.  I called the local Sheriff's office and they told me it was a scam.

I got same call in morning around 8 AM, it was computer generated, claiming they have a warrant on me due to complain and turn my self into local police dept, or call officer they mention in message. This guys are basters and there have to a way our government can stop them...

and are truly convinced that they will be taken seriously. At this point, a sheriff is on his way to slap bangles on my wrists.

Had the same message from someone called officer Steven white I think, the scent was hard to understand. The phone number to call back was 206 512 1480

Same thing happened here.  Cloaned the local sherriff's office number and said to call them for the IRS.  

Really....Officer Brian O'Connor from Florida State Police called and left a message  ... re: complaints from IRS

Same as above. Automated message to call John Harris at 206-512-1480 or turn myself in for federal complaint. Love how at the end of the message it says "Thank you and have a blessed day", like that would really happen. Imagine if these losers would actually put some effort into a real job or hobby.

Caller used 1-734-513-3000 and said he was with the local sheriff office and that I was to turn myself in. If not call Agent O'Brien at some federal office to have the issue resolved. FRAUD & SCAM

Just got this message:

“Hi this is Deputy Jones calling you-wash-sites(?) in State Police Department and the reason I was trying to reach you with in reference to a federal complaint which has been filed on your name from an officer by the name John Harris who is working with the Federal crime and enforcement network. So the very second you receive this message I want you to surrender your self to the nearest police department or else you can speak with an officer John Harris on the number 206-512-1480 I repeat it's 206-512-1480. This is Deputy Jones calling with wash site and state(?) police department. Thank you and have a blessed day.”

I called back and wasted there time for a while until I finally told him I know that the IRS only sends collection notices by certified mail and that I knew they were a scam. He admitted it and said we need money, legal or illegal, we still need money.

Unbelievable.

I got a call mentioning that there is a federal complaint on my name and asked to call back 206-512-1480 Officer Michael Black. Seems like it's a scam after visiting this page.

Got that same call saying the same check in to local police because it is a Federal crime asked for officer John Harris 206 512 1480 when my husband call no one answered the phone

It's the exact call I got  try calling no one answer

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Call saying it was Washington police types... same message as other police ones.  Our federal representative should be responsible for some legislation to put these people in jail...
