the caller has a heavy accent and I can't understand and once she said to stop interrupting her and I said I can't understand and she yelled at me so I hung up

they are very rude and i cant understand them because of their accent

Got a call from this number and thay identified themselves as IRS.  The IRS doesn't make house calls.

Called saying IRS and then someone named officer Johnson answered

Called saying they were the irs and if i hung up i would be arrested in 72 hours but would only say it was for tax evasion for a little over 4,000 dollars. Then after my husband told her we didn't owe any taxes and had a lawyer through h&r block she said that we would be arrested because we weren't allowed to file taxes through a company. He said contact our lawyers she then hung up before saying have fun getting arrested

Heavy accent extremely rude woman from IRS. She said f I don't pay $4,000, office will be at my door step right now and I will be arrested. Kept asking me how I want to resolve the case.

It's a shame there is no relief from thus harassment.  I never answer calls unless they are in my address book. I got a call from 5704 yesterday and blocked it.  I want to knwcwjere they get their numbers. I know they can robo call but thus starts everytime I make an online purchase from home depot.  Humm

Fake IRS call.

Scammers from India or nearby.  The IRS doesn't sue anyone.  Please don't answer these kinds of calls.  If you do, you are giving your number to the world.

The number 206-539-5703 called me she said her name was Officer Taylor Edmonds with the irm 49736 said that I owed almost $4,000 from back taxes on a name that I haven't used for several years when I tried to ask her about the exact fraud that she said that I did she would not give me a straight answer she also threatened that there was an arrest warrant while I was on the phone I checked there is no arrest warrant when I asked her about this she said why are you wasting my time do you want to pay this or not

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest as related to ordinary tax disputes.  Having a deficiency in taxes owed by way of audit is NOT a crime.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

I don't answer and my voicemail gets it everyone I listen, it says the Feds would be arresting me. The Government doesn't warn you of a warrant!

I have been getting herassed by this person named Brian. Not telling me who they are.
