Said it was the federal government tax department

Sam message stating  needed to call the Federal Government or face getting arrested.

Same thing as above. I called back and someone answered saying I had a warrant out for my arrest but when I asked if they even knew who it was calling they pretended like they couldn't hear me anymore so I hung up.

I am On a do not call list but getting calls from someone stating that i need to contact them immediatly on a case number. These calls are from different area codes and all hrs of day. This has gotten out of control. They act like it's the IRS!

I believe this is telemarketing...a lot of talking in the background.

The caller left a message stating that call this number or get arrested by the federal government.  Scam.

This number has been harassing my wife for over a week now, when I took the phone, they hung up, when I called back, they said they were the irs, when I confronted them about irs not calling anyone,  they hung up.

Automated message tell me to call the number back before I get arrested for a tax issue. The IRS doesn't harass people like that.

I have also received the automatic message saying that if I didn't call that number back that I will be arrested and after I receive that message I had googled the number and noticed that it was a scam so I called them back A guy with foreign accent said his name was Officer John or something like that I gave him a piece of my mind and told him if he was to call me back that I will report them to the proper  authorities and before I finish the sentenc he hung up on me

i answered and it was a recording saying it was the irs and i could be arrested if i didnt call this other number back. total scam

I have been getting calls from the same number.  I have had 2 today alone.  I read on the IRS website that there are 2 places you can report these scammers.  The first site is to report them to the Treasury Department via this link https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml and the second site is for the Federal Trade Commission via this site https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1  I did not get a threatening message nor did I answer the call, so I am going to report them via the FTC Site.

I have received multiple calls from this number 2065395707 saying they are the IRS!

Can you tell these people from this number to stop calling my phone leaving me threatening messages about going to jail because they want money I'm not going to give them s*** IRS want me they know how to contact me by mail they would never call my phone with no b******* and by the way you tell those [***] my daughter work for IRS stop playing on my damn phone and no I'm not giving nobody no f****** money

No one here can tell these people anything - you need to get a call blocker and be done with them. They are accomplishing what they set out to do, getting you upset because you are allowing it. Either ignore therm or block them.

Message says we all will be arrested soon.  Isn't that great, we will get free food and shelter!  Lol no.  These people should be shut down \arrested, and jailed for using these threat tactics.  They are going to cause heart attacks in the elderly.

I do not owe anyone any money and I called the local police and emailed the IRS! Stop calling and harrasing me!
