I received an eBay offer to text this # that I was accepting an offer for something I was selling - they were trying to buy outside eBay, offering pay by check. All against eBay policies. eBay has blocked the number and user name for me. The potential "buyer" lists residence as California, using this Seattle #. I'd block the number

I got an offer on ebay from a guy using this number as well only says he's based in Georgia. Trying to pay by check and offer much higher than the item is listed for.

Same thing here... left ebay message with Seattle no. and then message was out of S. Florida for check way above asking price.  Looks like a scam!

Scam Scam Scam - Ebay item for sale - wanted to pay by check - not happening! Besides the fact that they offered hundreds of dollars over asking price - lol!
