That is an "advance fee" loan and is illegal in every state therefore nothing but a scam.

You know it's a scam because they demand money upfront.  Which is illegal in most US states.  They also want the  money wired by
untraceable means.    There is no loan/grant.

Please read and memorize the following:

Things to remember about loans offered by phone or e-mail:  (Pay  attention to item #4!)

    Loans
    1.    No reputable lender will lend you money over   the   phone.
    2.    No reputable lender will lend you money by e-mail
    3.    On-line lenders are nothing more than conduits for another loan scam.
    4.    Advance fees for loans are always illegal.    At  least in   most    American states.
    5.    If   you want to borrow money,   go to an established brick and mortar   lender that has been around awhile.
    6.    If you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either
    a.  threatening you or
    b.  offering you something,
you know it’s a scam and you should hang up immediately.
    7.    These people are predators, the calls are not random, they have information that they have bought from various sources and know your financial history.  If you have ever taken out a pay-day loan, they have all your information.  They know who they are calling.  They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and sometimes  members of the immigrant community.   Also,  those who might be in financial difficulty.

I got a text message just the same as all of you my credit is bad no one in their right mind would give me a loan but just for giggles I called she with a forion accent told me my name then asked for my zip code now if you know my name then you know my zip code I hung up on them because if they were ligit then they would have already had my info. I've gotten loans before no one asked for money really if you had money to give then you would not need a loan. Predators are all they are.

I got a call from 206-596-0684; from a lady named "Jasmine" She said I had applied for a loan thru Consumer Loan Center.  I told her maybe. She gave me a loan id number, said I qualified for a loan of $3000. Then she gave me another phone number to call 360-819-1153. Said that I needed to give them the id number and that the loan was going to cost me $175 to process. She wasn't happy that I was making her repeat things; she was talking fast and had a Jamaican accent.  I never bothered to call back. Paying for a loan before getting it; is like paying for a credit card before you use it. Not a smart investment.
