I was given this number to call by someone who says they saw my add on craigslist and wanted to hire me.  They wanted to hire me despite my $800 fee to travel to St. Louis, yet this number is for the Seattle area.  They wanted to hire me to DJ their daughter's 18th birthday party that was from 1pm to 5pm on a Wednesday in St. Louis, MO.  
Here is the latest e-mail, which also asks for a tutor for a daughter yet the names are different in the e-mails, both came to me...

These people are running a scam. I have seen this before from these people. No matter what you do, please and I repeat please do not cash or take any checks from them. If you do they will flip the story and ask you to money gram funds to them

Like Adam, I've had email correspondance with "Madam Rebecca" after posting our DJ services on Craigslist yesterday. I saw some red flags so came here searching on the phone number given. Am now sure it's a scam. Below is her original email:

Funny I got the same thing, I had an item for sale on craigslist also.

I recieved the e-mail over a motorcycle i was selling, but i called the account holder of the check written, and the issuing bank of the check.  Its such a joke, the address for the bank was even wrong.  The individual said her name was mary george, but the call i recieved from this number was of a middle eastern man.  He never said anything except what he already wrote in the e-mails.  Will be giving all e-mails, check, and ups package it came in to the feds and let them play with it.  Oh btw the individual does like to try to scare you by saying he will goto the feds to report you for fraud...lol. it was such a pathetic scam...

I have also been asked to take ajob by them for nannying there son john that was nine I said I could and they sent me a 3,600 check I will not be cashing it I contacted and asked for the number of the place the kid will be staying they gave me a restaurants address and then they gave me this number to call and the check comes from a place in texas the supposed dad is in washington d.c and im in florida.Do not bother talking to these people you will end up having to pay back all the money.
