this number calls me everyday does anybody know who they are?

Same here. I get calls from them each day..

I've gotten 4 calls today alone...

They've called me 3 times today. I saw on another website that its Verizon Wireless Collections.

call is from cbe group trying to collect a debt from directv i refuse to pay them over some contract when i canceled their service that i never agreed to directv and cbe can kiss my a$$

They call our work number for someone who has not even had the number in 3 years and when asked to remove it refused to acknowledge the question.

Called me twice today.  Very irritating.

It's a collection agency. They called me about an Alltell phone I had in 2006...I guess Verizon bought out Alltell and is now collecting on their old debt!

What annoys me is all these collection agencies are looking for my ex-boyfriend.  He's long gone and married - I've provided them information as to his new location and last known phone numbers - but they continue to harrass me.  Its like they don't pay attention - I'm giving them the information they can damn well find out the way I did - look it up online!  I'd like them to collect the vast amount of money he owes me!  If nothing else, I wish they'd stop bothering me - I pay my bills and they are the bills the [***] left me!

Whoever this caller is CBE group), it is for harassment purposes.  I don't owe anyone, never had direct tv, no past due with Verizon, yet this number calls me everyday, and has already called me more than 10 times.  When I got through today, they told me they were looking for someone I have never heard of.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone too, usually one an evening but the other night it was 3 times in one evening.  I refuse to answer the call and they NEVER leave a message.  I too have never had directTV or verizon and do no owe anyone money that is passed due!!

I keep getting these calls from this number, and it comes from Washington state and belongs to CBE Debt collector! They use several phone numbers to try to make you pay a bill. My bill is Direct TV for saying we cancelled early.

Okay, if they are a NATION WIDE Debt collector why can't they send the info through the mail?
Seems more confidential than to call some phone number they are unsure who they are getting on the other end of the line.

Wish these people would STOP calling my phone.  I have asked them to stop, they ignore my requests!!!!  Who do you report this too????

This number belongs to the CBE Group Inc. A bottom feeding-dirt bag debt collection company for the either the IRS or Verizon Wireless.  If you owe any of these two (companies-govt agency) money, write a cease and desist letter demanding that they stop calling you, and ask for a written verification or validation that you owe any monies to either Verizon or the IRS.  In your letter tell them the following; This account is incorrect and fraudulent.  I refuse to make any payment on any account without legal validation as required by the Fair Debt Collections Act. Therefore, your client Verizon (or IRS) and your offices have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act in several instances.  In each instance there can be a $1,000.00 fine for violating my credit rights in the pursuit in collecting a non-validated debt.
For this reason, I hereby instruct you to cease collection of this debt, for the above referenced account (Add any account number that may have been received in a debt collection letter).
Further, it is my personal policy not to deal with collection agencies and I will only deal with the original creditor of this account.
You are hereby instructed to cease collection efforts immediately or face further legal sanctions under applicable Federal and State law.  I plan to sue you and your company for three violations, if you firm continues this unlawful collections activity.
I look forward to your acknowledgement of that you have received this letter.
