Number associated with IRS tax scam.

I got two calls from this number and message.  The man has heavy accent, difficult to understand him.  He identified himself as Robin David, from investigation div of IRS.

When I returned the call, the number is NOT in service.

Got the same call, if it was the IRS they would have sent you a letter in the mail, I asked for one, asked why this guy was putting on a western accent while he is clearly of Indian decent. Line went dead. They said we are in investigation for tax fraud on a home we sold many years ago. This is clearly a scam, don't fall for it!

I received a call from this number and the person claimed his name is Nick Brown, a IRS tax auditor........

Recive a call from this number. The guy was calling me his name is Dan Johnson.He told me that he is investigating a Tax Fraud, but he dont know what kind of fraud. He want me to talk to his investigation officeRoss tayler. I can clearly say that this guy have a african accent some where from ethopia or nairobi kenya. When I told him I will report it to IRS and FBI so he got nerves. I also ask him about there physical add first he refuse to provide me then he tolf me he is call for washington. BS

I got two calls from this number. The person claimed that I was investigated for IRS tax issues and will be sent to jail if I don't call back 206-641-7014 in the next 10 minutes. The person I was supposed to call back was Ross Tyler.

Got a call from 206-641-7014. Heavy accent. Indian or East African type! Sounded phony but pretended to be brave. When I told I just googled you and you are scam, he hang up. Out of curiosity called back - it only worked from the phone the called. The guy who picked up the phone, some Tyler, said IRS does not send letters in the mail! When I asked a friend of mine, he told me it said it was a disconnected number. It was also not listed in YP or WP :( !

PS: Call type below needs to have a category called "SCAM"!

i got a call from this guy today, and he was looking for my mom, saying that their is a warrant out for her arrest. My brother searched his number, came to this website, and read all the comments. I called him back on my cell phone since he called on my parent's landline and said that i was from the Seattle Police Department and said that we had a warrant for his arrest, which was false since i live on the other side of the country. I hope that he is hiding because he is scared of getting arrested. I also mentioned that he is being hunted for embezzlement.

I received many call from this number today and I filed police complain.

206-641-7014 called today (202-239-2742 had left strange message on answering machine yesterday which gave us time to read and be aware of this scam), definitely south-east Asia (India-Pakistan-like) heavy accent. Claimed IRS investigating us. Upon immediate angry pressure, what is this about, IRS sends letters, multiple letters, IRS has issued multiple advice about what you are doing, it is scam! you are scam! person claimed his name is Ross Taylor and the investigation is about tech fraud (!!?!?!!!??) -we have nothing to do with tech, it was probably the first thing that came to his mind since this is what he himself is involved with: SCAM/TECH FRAUD. Neither phone works if you call back from number other than the one they called you. Please google search "area code 206 scam" "area code 202 scam" or whatever area code they are calling you from and you will read more. This is a huge scam.

I got the same calls from 206-641-7014 too.  The guy called me 4 times.  I finally got irate and told him I was calling my local police.

Yes I got the same call and it said Don Johson. It looks like an IRS scam.

This scam is done by Indian using VOIP service from India. Reported 206-641-7014 to IRS Phishing, not sure why the service provider for this number 206-641-7014 is not suspending it.
