Static possibly a scammer 5 Second. Call no voices but static said something and hung up Don't answer

Just got the same, static and no one on the other line.  Wish I didn't answer.

Called and I let it ring.  No message

no message left - Don't know anyone in Washington!

called twice and did not leave a message

Had a call from  this number this evening, don't know anyone in Washington USA.  No one spoke, just silence which is a bit unsettling!

This number keeps calling.  I hang up

I didn't recognize the area code so I let it go to voicemail. They left a 5 second message of static, but no words.

Second time they have called, no one answers, just heavy static. How odd?

Received a call this afternoon as well.  No message left.  Given the cluster of calls I'm guessing it is the latest scam or Portfolio Recovery has a new number.

Just 4 seconds of static.  It seemed like an aborted robot call.

Received a call from this number on 5/12, don't know anybody in Washington, so I didn't answer, tried calling back today and kept getting busy signals

Same here, just static and then a message which stated "If you do not wish to receive calls from us, press 3." Don't recognize the number.

Press 1 to add your number to the "it is a live one" list we sell to other scammers.
Press 2 to yell at somebody who may not understand you.
Press 3 to verify a human answered your phone.
Press 4 if you enjoy getting unwanted phone calls.  We aim to please.
Press 5 if you have a dial-type phone instead of a pushbutton phone.
Press 6 if you have that many fingers on one hand.
Press 7 if you want us to call you at 7 AM ... or, some other, inconvenient time.
Press 8 if you like the sound of that tone
Press 9 if you are still on the line.

Static and then says to add your number to our do not call list press 3. Did not press anything simply hung up and added to call blocking.

Went to vm, didn't leave a message.  Thank you all for the notes, pretty sure I am safe adding this one to the reject list on my phone.  

I didn't pick up cause whoever or whatever this thing is... THEY CALLED AT 1:30 am!!!

Omg creepy I called back and it said that this number does not exist on the earth!!!
