I am wondering... do you all have AT&T? The moment I activated this carrier I began to get the calls. I have never had a solicitor call my cell. I have been with Verizon and Nextel, never a call.

I too called the number. The man who helped me looked at this cell number (after I quized him emphatically about whether he would now further give out this number!) and he said that it was a recycled number that had been attached to an account in its previous life that had an outstanding balance with the Seattle Times. He assured me that after the following Monday, the calls would stop. I told him that if they did not, I would take legal action. I'll let you know -

Read that. It won't stop them, but there it is. Besides, you don't have to answer every call that comes to your cell.

calls in the middle of the workday from Seattle Times are driving me nuts. I am registered on the do not call list and this is frustrating

3 calls on my unlisted cell number at random tonight within 2 hours.

Screw the seattle times.

The Seattle Times calling...no name or message. Sorry I'm phobic about telemarketers. No thanks.

They keep calling every day.

they keep calling after being asked not to.

I know why they are calling me - because i just renewed my service, but to sundays only. They are gonna ask me to get the weekly "for free" for the next 12 weeks.

Next time I'll answer, if they don't stop calling me after I ask, i'll cancel the service. If they call again, i'll start just screaming into the phone

Same story. Calling repeatedly and never leaving a message. They used to call my home number constantly, but for some reason the last time I told them "TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST" they listened. No more phone calls at home, but now they're calling my cell.

No idea how they got my cell number - it's not a number I give out freely.

They don't leave a message, which is really unprofessional. No wonder I canceled my subscription last year. That, and the fact that they are a liberally biased newspaper.

I don't answer now I know its Seattle times - I just sent an email telling them that if I get one more call I will be cancelling...

Interesting that they have phone numbers and email addresses for several managers... I don't know if it will do any good but I also sent my email to several of them !

They call me at least 3 times a day! Annoying!!

Also got a call from 206-652-6300. Absolutely no idea who it was and no idea how they got my phone number.  I have NEVER given my number to anyone - not even to family because it is so new ... very interesting. Thanks to this site, I know that it was the Seattle Times.

I just signed up with T-mobile.  I live in California, but will be moving to Seattle, so I got a Seattle number.  Within a couple days, before I'd even given my number to anyone, I got a call from 206-652-6300.  I guess they'll be going on the boycott list...

206-652-6300 continues to call my cell phone.  they call several times a day and never leave a voicemail. stop calling!

I receive 3 to 4 calls a week from these jokers at all hours. Do not want the calls or the *@!^#@! paper.

calling me over and over... told them it was a buisness phone and not to call it... but no dice..
Maybe its time to tell them its a government phone, which it is...

I am already a subscriber to the Seattle Times, however, about 3 times a month, around 8:30 p.m., I receive a call from this number after initially asking to be taken off their list, as I'm already a subsriber to the daily Seattle Times.

i know is so annoying that they keep calling and ask you if you read the newspaper or not! I don't read newspaper..this have to be stop by someone..it really annoying! but how the heck they got our phone numbers and call us?
