I had many texts from this #. Seemed interested in a vehicle I had on Kijiji. I went along with it until I was asked to wire $1300 via Western Union to the UK to cover shipping. This had scam written all over it. I shut them down immediately & they got mad. Stay away from making deals with this number.

I had many texts from this #. Seemed interested in a vehicle I had on Kijiji. I went along with it until I was asked to wire money  via Western Union to the UK to cover shipping. This is a scammer.

I just had a sidtuation that I posted an add on kijiji and got a text from this number saying they would pay full price for my car and surcharges through paypal. I thought this was quite wierd, so I decided to do some research through pay pal and online. He ended up wanting the car shipped at his cost but I had to handle the money. I said no deal and than got some wierd emails from "Paypal" saying the money was transfered. I checked my paypal account and there was no money he was just trying to get me to his next step and was mad after i didnt fall for it.

They asked what the lowest price I would take on my vehicle. Looked up the area code. Why would anyone want to buy a used car over 1500 miles away which they would have to go thru the hassle of importing?!

Just got asked about my car I have posted on Kijiji from this number - I went along with it knowing all along it was a scam (thanks to you guys!) Needless to say he stopped messaging when I responded "Let me guess, this is where I wire transfer you money so you can sucessfully scam another innocent person?"

He hasn't responded since!
