I'm in SW Ontario, Canada and got a call to our business no. at 12:40 am.  When I called back, a gentlemen excussed themself by saying they are a telephone co in Seattle WA (3 time zones away) and they were testing the lines.  Said their name is International Telecom.  I was not aware that testing the lines was conducted this way.  Seems phoney to me.

Got an 888 number and the next night, got a call from 206-691-1059, well before I had given out that number.

The phone rang twice and then stopped at 9pm tonight. No one was there.

International Telecom is the parent company of Kall8, which provides toll-free numbers and related services. Signed up yesterday; got a (missed) call today.

Same here. Signed up with kall8 yesterday, got the call today

They must still be calling their own numbers as I signed up for kall8 yesterday and got the 2 ring call today from them...
