They called and said there was a lawsuit against us from the IRS. This sounded like a scam.

Left message at 6:27 A.M. saying the Internal Revenue Service ...blah, blah, ...I deleted the msg w/o hearing it all because I had two calls yesterday saying the same thing from a different number, and I reported those then.  Want it to stop.  Soon.  Now.  Scam.

Try shutting down the machine so they get no kind of an answer from your number. That betters your chances of getting them disgusted so they quit calling.

Said they were from the IRS -  that I owed back taxes and would arrest me -   I finally hung up on them -  did give them my SSI # -   stupid me -   before I was convinced it was a scam and hung up on them.   Now, I am really worried!

Said they were the IRS and filling a law suite against me for back taxes ( Scam)

Rec'd this call 12/15/15, message on machine; mechanical pre-recording, garbled at times... "IRS filing a lawsuit".     I filed complaint online with the Federal Communications Commission, who investigates this scams.
