I received a call from 206 743 0942 about 8-10 days ago, and initially rejected it.  Later I received a call from the number that stated it was 'urgent.'  I returned the call, and spoke to someone who seemed to suggest that they were a law firm.  I thought that someone needed my help in some sort of court/litigation.  I gave these people 2 of my mailing addresses (I am fighting being the victim of identity misuse/theft; I have no federal retirement which may relate to this despite 20 years as a federal employee in a "covered" position.)  I also told them they could contact the police station as I live in a small town two blocks away from the police station - if they needed to contact me quickly.  Yesterday, I called them back as I had not received any mail from them..  They made the mistake of asking me if I had sent in  a payment.  Things went down hill from there.  I do not owe anyone any money; I pay my bills.    I believe they are a collection agency.  Thank the Lord I did not give out my SSN, or my date of birth.  I would not have done this anyway as I was reluctant to give my (confirm) my phone number with them.  They have caller ID.

In the process of turning over the information to the State's Attorney General's office.

received 12/3/14.  Have received MANY of these messages referencing a "Tarjam" matter. Often sounds or references a legal matter. Never answered, strongly suspect scam. Have also received similar messages from 716-279-6370, 716-240-2991, 800-217-2533, 716-240-3219.
