Received an automated message saying that the IRS is trying to sue me and that I need to call 206-743-9147.  I think it is a scam because IRS does not correspond by phone, only postal mail.  Anyone else with this experience?

This was the second call from " IRS " stating they have a lawsuit against me. Scam.

Just called me. The message says that this is a final notice from IRS and IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.
Sure, I am going to call them back to get the details. :)

Yes .. just got a call today 11/12/2014. Said they were trying to get in contact with me for a while & that there is a lawsuit against me! Poo Poo to you 206-743-9147, I'm not calling the number back nor am I frightened. What a bunch of do do's! Please, I hope no others are fooled by this.  

Same here -- i just got a call on 11/12/2014 that IRS has a lawsuit against me.  

I received same message and called back, however No one answered and it wasn't even a real number.  Do they get any info from us for answering their call it calling them back?

Message, for the second time, stated that this was, again, the final notice that the IRS was filing a suit against me.  There needs to be some laws to prosecute this type of harassment.  Poor fool that may be victimized by them.

They must be quite desperate and today must be the day.  We got one too, but it was after 5 PM  What kind of doo doo head thinks anyone from any government agency (by the way doo doo head, the area code isn't 206) would call AFTER 5 PM.

I got the message today for the second time.  The first time was a 202 ....
I call back and said do not call my number.

I got the exact same automated message.

Yes called me at noon today second time within the last two weeks. It's becoming annoying. I've dealt with the irs a few years ago and it's always been through the postal service.

Another msg from IRS that they are going to file suit against me. Can't believe people would believe this.  Called 7:30 in the morning, so obnoxious.

I got a call saying I was being sued by the IRS for $2,976.00.  They went on and on reading a script and I could hardly understand this foreign person so I asked to speak to someone else.  Their superior came on the phone and they were also foreign.  When I asked to speak to someone without an ancient, they guy said go home and get a good nights sleep and wait to get sued by the IRS.  Then he hung up on me.  I guess this was a fraud scam call.

Got a call from the "IRS" at this number. They were ready to take legal action against me, so to stop it I needed to immediately go to the bank, withdraw cash, and send it to them via an EFT. He even gives a badge number and then a number to call to verify his identity!
