The IRS lawsuit scam

IRS lawsuit scam...was tempted to call back and mess with them....are they that stupid to not realize the IRS is not gonna call you on the phone.....DUH

on the recorder all I could hear was "case file" & " you need to call us immediately". Blocking the number!!

Called me twice today.  I'm gonna be rich, b@#ch!

IRS scammer threatening lawsuit. Blocked their number and reported to TIGTA and FTC.

Have gotten 3 automated calls today from 206-792-9471 "IRS" saying they are suing me, and I must call back a different number with identifying information to avert the suit.  What a scam.  Blocked their number and reported them.

I get refunds every year, what the heck

bogus IRS call, lawsuit pending, call this # right away. Automated call, nice voice, no accent though..

got a vm from this # stating law suit with irs pending.   total bs  the irs will never contact you by phone.  but believe it or not, people fall for this crap!

They call and harrass me all the time

IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.

Received 2 calls re suit against me.

Irs tax scam . these scammers need to be arrested.

Most of these calls are coming out of India and Pakistan. We have no authority over in those country's.

Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

They're at it again.  Came home to message on my machine that the IRS is suing me and I need to call immediately.  Yeah, right.  BLOCKED!

I too have been receiving this call from 206-592-9471 from Washington State. First it was if you are you please call. Then it became you are being sued by the IRS and must call immediately.  Unbelievable that I get these scam calls when I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST....really.   I did try to call back and the phone just kept ringing and ringing and no one answered.

I have received several calls from this telephone number in the past year.  They state that the irs is going to file a lawsuit against me.   When i call the number back, i either get a busy or a cut off.  Today, an indian accent answered and stated that it was canada emergency.  When i inquired asking what type of business it was, he hung up.Called back, busy.

Same thing - said will file a lawsuit. I didn't call them back and blocked their number
