206-792-9760

Received an email from this guy (scotthwarrick@gmail.com) wanting to purchase product from my business. He gave me a phone number of 206-792-9760. I Googled it before I spoke with him and realized what I was dealing with.

BE CAREFUL!

I received the same proposition from Scott Warrick (scottwarrick@gmail.com) wanting to buy automotive parts and having them picked up by "his carrier" to take to the EU. The name of "his" carrier is live express air freight with a contact number of 206-792-9760.

Good thing someone posted something here and on callferret.com to help us avoid that chap.

I received the same email with this guy's name Scott warrick  1-206-792-9760
scott warrick  scottwarrick2@gmail.com

He said his address is

Spokane , WA  99216

HE'S A SCAMMER !!! BE AWARE

This sounds like his pitch to me.  he e-mailed me to "order some parts."  the only problem was he didn't specify anything, then he asked the price of 1 part, then he ordered 600 pieces @ $7.00.  I played along with him for fun.  The parts were to go to Denmark, via his designated shipping company who, of course, had to be pre-paid.  They called for an amount, I gave it to them.  They said that they'd get me a credit card.  I said, no way.  Wire transfer only.  End of story

Not sure if Scott has now moved into email scams? I have a guy scottpaker@gmail.com wanting to order a large amount of furniture from the UK for delivery to Grimstad Plant, Televeien. Norway via dyonfreightltd@hotmail.com - SOUNDS FAMILIAR?

I'm playing along with him right now!  He's Scott Parker with an email address of scottpaker@gmail.com.  I figured right away he was a scammer if he couldn't even spell his own last name correctly.  He wants 5 dining tables shipped to Norway via dyonfreightltd@hotmail.com.  Dyon Freight isn't even a legit company.  I'll see how long he keeps it up! :)

Same as the others but he emailed me the order.  Told him I took cash only.  Still waiting for my $5000.

Same thing has happened to me. Scott parker, scottparker@gmail has been sending daily emails after my replies to purchase a large amount of dining tables. I repeatedly told him he must come into the store to sign for the purchase order first and pay 50% down before any order can be placed for him. Today he sent an email to have the order shipped to the same shipping address and email address below.
So be aware. It's someone playing games and wasting your time.

Too funny! Our community college offers a one-day Adirondack-style twig chair making workshop, and this "Scott Parker" emailed us today, wanting to order Adirondack chairs, even giving the dimensions.

I felt like replying that he had to pay for and attend the workshop and make his own! I just deleted it instead.

Hi mrs Weaver,
he has been in contact with us also requesting dining tables to be sent to norway, obviously we are not sending them we are also playing along with him x

Here's another.  Although he's using a new number now.  324-254-2260.  Starts with a price quote on 1...then he wants a lot more sent overseas.

Same as others and the man says his name is Robert Smith (robertequipment@gmail.com).  Wanted 200 cds to be shipped to:

Rev. Mark White
Sankt Annae Plads 6
DK 4512 Copenhagen
Denmark
I said we would have to have a credit card before shipping--now i see it needs to be cash.  This looked like a scam from the beginning as his spelling was off and he has a gmail email as does the shipper.  Not right.
He said his shipper is Sark Logistics Limited and I should contact the shipper and get cost of shipping before I tell him final price.  He would pay with a credit card. This is a big scam!

Hi All

It seems like he is targeting the UK too. We have just received an email asking for curtains. Its a shame for him that I google all email address' on dodgy looking emails.

Thank you for all your comments above. Its made an interesting read with my morning coffee.

WOW.. Just got an email from scotthwarrick@gmail.com.. Same MO! Wants to order WINDOWS!

I'm going to play along for awhile to see how far it goes... I'll stay posted!

His name has changed to Robert Smith but, the game is the same. He wanted sheets of glass from me.

I am goinb to ask for a money order and I will let you know...

I got an e-mail from Scott Warrick and thank goodness for this website.  My scam was identical to yours.

Now the guy calls himself Charles Foster, but it is the exact same email.   Desires to purchase several hundred items and have them sent to Tracy Jones Copenhagen, Denmark, Etc., Etc.  Sure wish we could put a stop to these scams.

I knew it was a scam from the beginning but I wanted to see what the angle was because I know most of them but couldn't figure this one out.  100,000 flyers was what he wanted to order and shipped to South Africa. So he sent the Sark Logistics email lol. It was a gmail address mind you. He gave me a total of two credit card numbers which honest if they went through for the 7+ thousand I would have kept the money and sent him an email saying thank you LOL.

He doesn't want any items/products. What they want is the money that you will send to the 'freight' company to supposedly pick these items from you and delivery them. They sent me a freight bill for $2600, $350 of which was itemized as "tax" lol... That's a hell of a tax rate.
