- ChrisCaller had strong Indian/Middle Eastern accent. Did not give a name. Stated they were the IRS and that I was being sued and my workplace is under investigation and that I needed to contact them immediately. Should also note that they called at 5AM. Based on my gut instinct and confirmed by the information I found here (THANKS EVERYONE!!) I DID NOT return their call. I used the following link on the story from IRS.gov website (link to IRS.GOV story was provided by previous poster), to report this call to the Treasury Inspector General. https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
