Message said this was a final notice from the IRS that they are filing a lawsuit against us. We are to call them back at this number for more information.

I received a call with the same message about the IRS. I did a phone number search on the number that called. It came up as a mobile number in India. I highly doubt that the IRS of the United States would be using people on mobile phones in India to make calls regarding IRS law suits.

Same as above. Said FINAL WARNING - the IRS is filing a lawsuit and to call the 206 number. The call came from 815-493-8044. I called that number and it's been disconnected with no further info.

i just got a call from 2068553365 with the same message. FYI the IRS does not call...they send certified letters.  THIS IS A SCAM.

Got a voicemail from 2068553365 saying that the IRS is suing us and to call this number.  Heard about this scam a long time ago.  I don't owe IRS any money and truly this is a crazy calling from where ever.

I'm getting the same message. I'm going to see if the IRS has a scam report section.  If I remember right anything legal needs to be done through registered mail.  Plus the voice was a robotic recording rather than a person from the law offices.

message said, "Final Notice - the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you" & left this # to cal.  This "206" area code & # comes up as a cell phone # in Washington state.  (Obviously the IRS would not be using a cell phone .)
But caller ID # is a completely different #, which is a "416" area code in Canada.  
Local news stations have been warning of this scam.

Phone scam from 206-855-3365 claiming to be IRS.  Reverse search says call was made from phone registered in Bainbridge Island,  WA.  -- Go Get EM!  

I got the exact message from the same number (206)855-3365. It seems like complete fraud. They don't identify your name or give you the alleged number to the said "case file" against you. Wouldn't they have sent a letter? This reeks of fraud bad.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

My elderly mother received a message from this number claiming to be the IRS with a final warning.

I guess they think Washington state and DC are the same place..
IRS here stands for " International Robo Shills"
