These POSs call with some sort of BS regarding having been awarded thousands of dollars from the IRS / US Government.  Then, when you refuse to 'bite' on this (sort of what these Indian dicks do in their spare time...'bite, that is), you then get a call (different day & time) noting, in an American woman's voice, that you are being legally served by the "IRS".   I called the number her robo recording gave and an Indian-accented (definitely not a native American Indian's voice, trust me!) guy answered.  He asked if the number from which I was calling was my home number.  I politely told him that, for me having rec'd this call, he should know this information.  I then asked if he was truly in Washington, DC.  He said. "yes", so I then asked if he was in this country legally or did he just cross some border to make this his life's work.  He hung up.  I laughed!  A lot!   And now I'm calling that same number (206.855.5827) every 10-12 minutes hoping to do to this group of foreign idiots what they're doing to us.  I URGE you to call this number as often as your time permits and give them back what they're dishing out.  And, don't forget to ask if they are in the US legally... makes their day, I'm sure.

Received a call and didn't answer.  Voice mail message claimed we are being sued by IRS.  Not the IRS but just IRS.  English is their second language, I guess.  Called the number they left and no one answered.  Called the number the call originated from and it rang and a message came on saying the call could not be completed as dialed.  Complete fake and a scam.  The real IRS sends you registered mail to communicate with you I later found out.

I received a voicemail from this number and was upset when it said the IRS. I called and was disconnected 4 times.  I knew something was up at that point.  I waited and called back and got someone else on the phone who then told me that the IRS has issued a warrant for my arrest due to fraud taxes that have been filed since 2008 and I owed $75,000!!! I immediately called my local police department and they confirmed it was a scam.  I can't believe people are this low!

Received a voice mail directing me to call this number.  Said it was IRS and that Internal Revenue Service had filed a lawsuit against me and that I should call the 206-855-5827 to get more information. The caller id for the originating call was 845-193-8644- obviously a spoofed number. I'll admit it did get me concerned for all of a few seconds, but a quick Google search revealed that it was a scam.  So, yes I will pay that bill as soon as my money comes in from Nigeria.

Received this bogus scam call. Another reminder that I need to disconnect my land line. I apparently maintain it for the convenience of scams and solicitations,

Company name is not listed with reverse look up, but guess what is? Their communications provider. Direct complaints to Level 3 Communications out of Broomfield, CO. Customer Service Desk number is 1.877.2LEVEL3  And they are also on Twitter @Level3. Maybe if they get enough complaints they will either stop protecting the scam company or suddenly discover that using their system to auto-dial in hopes of scamming a few confused souls violates some obscure Terms and Conditions clause. Either way, this is not just an annoyance it is a potential identity theft issue. Time for a little net justice.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I just received the same threatening message.  The caller ID number was 895-393-8044.  Thanks to the person below who discovered the provider company Level 3.  I did just speak to a representative there who said that the 895 number was bogus, but that the 206 number was valid and issued by Level 3.  She said she'd report it to their fraud department. If everyone calls Level 3 to complain, perhaps they'll cut off this scam company.

These calls are coming from India and Pakistan.. Just what do you propose the Government do about them hmmm? We have no jurisdiction in those country's.  I'm sure we'd all love to see these scamming boiler rooms nuked big time, but unless their governments catch them, your best bet is a call blocker.

Yes these [***] clowns called me too claiming to have a $ 7,000.00 grant for me but first I would have to give them $ 237.00 to secure my money and later I would receive it back. So i hang up and called back being someone else and when the same guy answered I gave a different name. Since he had time to play on my phone I decided to play back on his. They are indians. Their number is 206-855-6753 waste of time.
