Multiple number including this one calls my phone, I answer but it seems as if I called them (due to the phone ringer as if you are calling someone), the person picks up and ask for me by name. He or She continues to say I'm calling you about your loan application you placed online at Money Tree, or the other payday loan company. As I say I never placed a loan online, they follow up by asking my age. I don't give them any information but ask them to stop contacting me. I receive between 4 to 6 phone calls from the strange numbers daily.

I received several calls from (206) 855-6816 today.. they said they were processing my loan application. When I said that I did not fill any apps out and questioned him further,  he called me a [***]. I said seriously, did you just call me a [***] and he said Yes I called you a [***]. needless to say it did not go well from there. I called the number back and he answered, trying to disguise his voice. I asked to speak to the person in charge, he said he was. I was unable to make out what he said when he answered the phone as his accent was very thick.  He became abusive and the call ended. A short time later the number called me back. this time it was a female and when I told her i was filing a complaint on them, she kept calling me a stupid girl over and over ... I get the impression they are a husband and wife team

This number called me - I asked what company they were and he kept avoiding telling me. Then he said it was Payday loans. I told him I never applied and to put me on the do not call list. He then yelled at me for applying on line. I told him I did not apply on line and he said you had too or I would not have your number. I know they get info from anywhere they can. He was nasty and rude.

beware, they are part of a huge scamming network, They will tell you that you have been approved for a loan, anywhere from $1000 to $6000 & at first they seem legate & then they ask you to go get a green dot money pack, Just remember any time someone asks for up front money ,they will rip you off.

this number has been calling me 2-5 times a day for the past week.

when I answered today, I spoke to a "Joseph" who claimed to be with Moneytree calling about my loan application. when I told him I hadn't filled one out, he said he was with Payday Loan. there was much talking in circles as he could not seem to explain how they had gotten my information if I hadn't filled out an application or even heard of the company. I believe at one point he offered to put me on the DNC list.

got a second call this afternoon - this time a female voice started in with the same spiel. I think she hung up on me after I told her I'd never applied.

there was a third call after that but they never got around to talking after I'd said hello

I made the mistake of answering the call from these idiots, was told I had applied for a loan on line, which I didn't. I said I didn't apply for a loan and did not want a loan and the idiot kept talking as I hung up the phone. Do not answer the phone when that number shows up!

Got 3 calls from this #, I called them back and said I was approved for the loan. I told the guy I didn't apply for any loan. He said "Sorry to bother you sir" and hung up. What a crock of [***] this company is.

Got several calls a day from that number, every time a different English name for an Indian accent person on the other side of the line. They tell me my loan for $5,000 was approved,   I say I never applied then they hang up on me.
Last time they callled I told them I reported them to the FBI and they started getting all mad and yelling... :)
This is a clear scam, I hope the police gets them soon.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Advance fee loans are illegal period and in some states, so are the payday loans.   Please be aware the scammers may also claim down the road that you have taken a loan and try to extort money from you that way as well!

I got the same call many times. when I asked to be taken off call list they told me my husband applied for loan and it will cost me $50.00 to cancel. SCAM!!!!!

A male, speaking broken English, tried to convince me that I had applied for $5,000 after I questioned him on why I was receiving his call when the number is on the "no call list". I told him no and hung up before he started his argument.

Constantly calls when I have told them to take my number out of their system

This number calls my phone 5-10 times a day starting at the cracking of dawn.  I've told the women 4 times today to stop calling me.  So the man tried calling.  I told him if he didn't stop calling I was reporting it. He then told me he wad reporting me bc I wouldn't give him any information to verify who I was.  How do I get these morons to stop calling me?

This duo is really pissing me off. called me 3 times on thanksgiving, been calling for weeks and still calls. Finally had enough and went off on them the other day, the lady said she would keep calling forever and called me at least 5 more times that night before I blocked their number. Now I'm getting other calls from places I think they gave my number to.

I want them out of commission.

This number calls my husbands phone told. Them no Jessica here they called me a f#cking idiot and [***] but guess what I fot them recorded talking to me like this and will go to police for phone harassment

 This number calls my cell number in the am and during the day plus evenings. ALmost every day. WHat's up with this. Very tried of these calls …..Stop already

This same number keeps calling me as well, same loan story but they say I need to go get a green card and put $200 on it and tell them the number for processing fees (every time they call back because of cause I hung up in their face the card changes and the amount changes and couple of times did the voice or the number but same thick accent and the same B.S.  demands). All I can say," hope this phone call is not being charged".
