The telephone number  206-866-5560 has called me eight timessine 10.am this morning.It is now only two hours later and they are still calling me.They claim to be IRS. It is a scam!!!

Same here. I called them back to tell them that I reported them the IRS (first of all the IRS will never call) second of all they have to give you an ID number that you can actually call and verify. I've gotten 6 so far today.

Have received 2 from this number this morning. They left a voice mail message saying to call Immediately but would not say who they are. Caller ID says "unavailable". I do not answer these calls or return them. Glad to know who it is.

We received 3 calls- my husband called them back and they sounded Middle Eastern-ish accent.  Gave us a case number, etc.  Said we owed almost $6K to IRS.  If we didn't pay them $1K over the phone, the police would be there in 15 minutes to arrest us.  We called the police.  Its a scam.  They said we were good!  :)

I've received three calls today from this number telling me that the IRS has issued a lawsuit against me - I let VM pick up since I don't answer calls from unknown numbers.  I'm so glad I did a reverse look up on this number!  If the IRS contacts you and you owe them any money, expect a letter not a phone call.

This number has called 3 times today for me and left messages on voice mail stating that the IRS is going to sue me. First thing, the IRS would not call and do this. It is a scam.

I have received several calls from 206-866-5560 claiming that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  I called the number back, with my number blocked and a person answered immediately, "IRS.  Hello, this is the IRS."  Wow...that's really professional and believable!  First of all, I had an issue with my return last year and could not get a live person at the IRS for weeks!  Secondly, any time the IRS has contacted me directly, it has been by certified mail to my home address.  I knew this was a scam, but I just wanted to call and hear how they answered the phone.

Called at least 3 times today. Got the same type of calls last year. When will they give up with all these dumb scams!

Had the same message, left about 6 messages on our answering machine. Won't be calling them back, glad to know I'm not the only one getting this spam call.

Same as others, "...is filing lawsuits against you, call us immediately..."

Received several calls from this number.  They leave messages saying that the IRS has a lawsuit against us.  (We never answer the call we let it go to v.m..
