Comes up as Bainbridge I WA and claims it's IRS...not "THE" IRS... "The reason of this call is IRS is filing lawsuit against you..." When scamming, proper English would be appreciated. No one here owes the IRS anything.

Threatening me that the IRS is going to file a law suit against me.

Scam. Scam. Scam. Automated message that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. The IRS sends certified letters NOT emails or voice mails.

IRS Scam:

The IRS does not need to sue anyone.  They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office.  Several of them.  Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for.  Again delivered by the Post Office.  Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own.  If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge?  They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

called twice and left 2 automated voice mails claiming to be IRS and threatened to sue, when I called back they first was required my info which I did not give unless I had more info who they were and why they called...then hung up on me.

SCAMM! When I called back using a number blocked, I specifically asked, "Are you posing as a fraudulent IRS agent, they hung up on me. I called back, using the same blocked # and they never answered again.

They left a message that I need an attorney, so I called the number back and he answers very unprofessionally at first, then asks for my name and verifies my phone number and then proceeds to tell me I owe the IRS and I am a prime suspect in an IRS investigation. I told him I will contact the IRS my self and he proceeds to tell me he is from the IRS and I hung up and I'm seeing this same number here. Crazy scammers. Please check the info on the IRS website, they will never call you without notifying you by mail first.

Hard to provide answers when no such thing exists along with hating it when they're not on offense. Too many questions and they bail out.

After several attempts from someone perporting to be the IRS, I now receive calls from this number stating I am entitled to a $10,000 free US grant.  Just provide them with my bank routing number and account number and the money  will be direct deposited  Yeah right!!!

Called the number back to an officer Ryan Smith from the IRS as soon as I asked for this person they hung up on me and when I tried calling back all I would get is a busy signal.
