Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Called and harassed my 90 year old mother.  Nice.  I'm glad that she knows to hang up and call me for stuff like this, but she was still upset.

This number called again after about 2 months from the last time.  Left a message saying that it was the "IRS" and that "this was our last warning" and to call this number before they decide to sue.  It really does scare my young son when he hears this message and I have to tell him that its a scam.

It was call by using recorded voice , said from IRS, i think it is a fake one, i had received the fake IRS calls many times,  want me call back this 2069009172 number or other numbers.

Called me last year then recently called twice. I keep rejecting the number they call from but still coming in from alternate numbers and now from this number 206-900-9172. I wonder if these people get paid to do this? I called them back and the background noise sounds like a call center. These people are WHACK!

claim to be IRS - when you call the number back, they immediately get aggressive.  I knew it was a scam but they wouldn't give me any information and just tried to intimidate me.  Feel badly for elderly people that get this call and don't know what to do.

Call from 206-900-9172 says I'm being sued by the IRS, demands money

call came from 206-9009172 stating that I  owe taxes fro 2010 and the IRS  filing a Law Suite  pay or go  to Jail

We, too, received 2 automated phone calls back to back, claiming to be the IRS and that this was our FINAL NOTICE on the legal action they were taking against us. Seriously?

Called claiming to be the IRS. Said they were filing a lawsuit against me and this was my Final Notice!

When I tried calling number back, phone just rang and rang w static noise. " so important to call them back, yet no one answers phone nor is there a message" scam!

Call came today and left message. I returned call. Claimed to represent IRS and claimed because of an error in 2012 tax return, I owed $2389. Additionally, told me that an arrest warrant had already been issued. When I told him he was a fraud because IRS would only send paper, he hung up.

I'm glad I found these messages I got a call this week left on the answering machine that it was the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me and this was my last chance to take care of and to call 206-900-9172.

This is a scam this not the IRS there is no warrant no law suit I have family that work for the cops and these number been reported with other numbers about people getting scammed they will scare them into paying money if they call u please hang up call your local FBI or police and make complaint and warn others about these scams post in on Facebook the more people that no the better we can stop this . Scammers

4 message on answering machine between 10/6 - 10/9  irs coming after us - we owe

I called back and a guy answered "IRS" in an Indian accent.  He asked my name and I told him he should have my name, since he was with the IRS.  He insisted he had to verify my name so he knew was talking to the right person.  I asked him what his name was.  I couldn't understand all of his answer it but it sounds like his last name is M******* F******** S.O.B. I laughed and then he hung up.  This is unfortunate because I wanted to get a physical address where I could take them a check.  I guess I'll have to call Mr. M******* F******** S.O.B. back.
