Caller claimed to be the IRS. The IRS does not call, they always correspond in writing. Scam

Caller left msg that a Lawsuit was in my name and I should call right away or a warrant issued for my arrest.  His name I believe was Mark Goodard and God Bless or Have a Blessed Day something like that ending his call. When is Legal or IRS religious?

Mna with a accent called and said he was from the IRS and if I didn't respond there would be a arrest warrant issued. I did not respond.

Ive gotten 5 voice messages in the last 2 days from this number telling me the same. It seems to be a recording as it always sounds the same. They must be desperate if they are trying to get me to call them back. Not gonna happen.

I have received the same call 4 times in two days and received the same voice message as you did.  How can I get this stop?

I have also gotten so far a total of 5 calls from this number.  It is from a Mark Godard (?) stating that a he is from the IRS and a lawsuit has been filed in my name.  I need to call him back on his office number right away or a warrant will be issued.  I was also told "God Bless and have a nice day".  This is the same every time and if I try to interrupt I get no response letting me know it is a recording. The IRS does not call you.  They will send official letters from the IRS location where you file your taxes such as Cincinnati, Ohio or San Francisco, CA.  You will not get a call from Washington (state); or at least this is where my caller ID tells me this is where this number is from.

Man calles and left message saying he would issue an arrest warrant from the IRS.

Same call so many times. Who do we report this to? From Seattle,Washington saying they are from the IRS and if I don't call back,a warrant will be issued for my arrest! Please help us out,what do we do?

I just got the same phone call.  Caller had a heavy accent and said if I didn't call back immediately an arrest warrant would be issued.  I work the IRS and know this to be a BOGUS call

I just got one from this number saying something about a federal warrant.

this one is particularly distirbing    says i have a lawsuit/judgement against me and if i dont call back a warrant will be issued for arrest.    i can see how old people could get scammed off this [***]

Received the same message from this number in Seattle Washington. Same threatening messages about federal criminal offense.

If anyone else gets a call from this number please do the following:

2) Report the call to https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml .

Same as above for all messages.  4 times in two days..

My wife actually called the number back.  It said the number is not in working order.   Should I be worried that she called that number??

I've had 4 calls in less than 24 hours from this number with the same recorded message 'this is the final attempt to reach you'.  Scam!

i have reported this before--for the last week they have been calling 3 times a day with the same threatning message----im telling ya, im getting a boat horn and ear muffs and putting them right next to the phone and i will use the horn
