this is an IRS scam.  they claimed to be calling from an IRS office.  That they (IRS) are filing a lawsuit against the called party.  

yes i got call from 937-567-3611 telling me to call this number. it is not the IRS. it is obviously a scam.

I got a call from 936 564 3651 telling me to call this number that the IRS was going to sue me. Obviosly a SCAM.

They are making the calls into Macomb County from outside the area.  Please be careful because it is a scam.

They just called me!  I looked up the phone number and it led me here!  

same # called today left a compouterized message saying IRS was suing me

Yea, they called me. IRS. wish I knew where they lived. Id fly out there and do some ass whopping.

Got call from 939-564-3641 instructing to call 206-905-9768.

The simple fact is that the IRS does not initiate contact by phone.

Got a call today from 938-560-3691 with an automated voice saying it was the IRS wanting to sue us and we needed to call 206-905-9768.  Total scam, though this voice was much more pleasant than the very rude man with a foreign accent which I couldn't understand who called with an IRS scam last year!

Received a call from 206-905-9768 with recorded message that this was the final attempt to contact "me" before a lawsuit was filed against me. Claimed they were the IRS and to call them at this number.

Just got a call from a cell # in Colorado springs leaving message " final notice, IRS is next going to sue me" called this 206-905-9768 # back to scream at them and either no answer or busy signal....thanks to this site, I knew I was correct in my thinking that it was a scam!

Computerized voice stating this is the IRS about to file a lawsuit. The IRS sends certified letters, so this is definitely not them.

I received a canned voice message with caller ID 1-224-306-5030 and marked Unavailable.   It was the same IRS scam threatening a lawsuit.   They wanted me to call 206-905-9768.

Same as above.  I have received similar calls in the past and contacted IRS directly.  They confirmed they have no record of any issues with my taxes.  They asked that I report the information to them if contacted again.

They called today but from a number 936-568-3671 that has a voice message of a robotic womans voice saying to call 206-905-9768. That the IRS is calling and I am in trouble of some sort. I have had these people call from many different numbers. I block each number but my phone still rings once. One time after they called I blocked the number and they kept calling back so my phone kept ringing once for a good 5 calls, then they finally stopped lol. I have not gotten a call from my phone in a couple weeks but now they are calling my cell. Sometimes it's automated and sometimes it's a foreign man that will say the police will be there in 10 minutes to get me for issues with the IRS if I don't give him the information he requests. Please do not fall for this crap. It's all fake.

Just received a call today with the same message about an IRS law suit. It was a robotic voice mail message.
